Well my story like others my BG bill was estimated gits.
    Electricity sorted
Gas not confirmed the reading yet so still waiting to get that sorted which then will be sent to BG to do the final bill.
In regards to the 22nd December to the 16th January - I don't have a clue.

If you know your opening readings with British Gas, and have them confirmed on your bill, email these to Breeze Energy. They will then mark these BG opening reads, regardless of the date taken as your 22nd Dec Breeze Energy closing  reads. Then pay them whatever you owe.

Glad I was able to do my final Breeze bill in January and the credit paid that, as I've been having problems submitting my current readings to British Gas. Have tried for five days but the form for submitting won't load, and my previous readings have disappeared.
I raised the issue on Twitter with their British Gas Help account. They asked me to DM the meter readings I wanted to submit and my address details, and they updated my account.
I now have a bill for just under £300 for just over a month! But I can't download the bill yet to check the accuracy or see any readings. They will send a paper bill for free but it takes 10 days.

£300 for just over a month is very scary,  I think we are all going to have to check the bills BG are sending us very thoroughly before paying them any money

Exactly. That amount is usually my quarterly bill.
I'm not paying it until I can check they have the correct details.
I paid my final Breeze bill mid January.
Last week the meter reader came and took the reading for my electricity meter, and the next day there was a request for meter readings on my British Gas account. No idea what is going on, so now on their Chat option again.

Just got off their chat system.
They're claiming that is the correct amount for my meter reading- though I have no way of checking what starting date they've used, yet.
Apparently they will email when the bill is ready to download- 48 hours after they receive the readings.
As for being unable to see previous readings or submit readings.
    Their answer:
You : Why are the previous meter readings not showing on our account, nor the meter reader's electricity reading?
Them : There is currently an issue with regards to viewing the meter reading history and submitting the readings through the online account.
You : When will that be fixed?
Them : We're aware of this issue and our website development team is working hard in getting it fixed.
    Them : It'll be resolved in a 2 to 3 days.
Them : *It'll be resolved in 2 to 3 days.

Everything is wait x amount of time with British Gas, yet never had that problem with Breeze.
Avro have emailed and my transfer date is now the 13th March, though they originally said 14th.

BG issued me with an estimated bill, but their figures were all over the place and the gas and electricity were estimated to different dates and the standing charges didn`t work out either, spoke to them twice to get the bill cancelled! and on the second chat they agreed to take the figures I had provided to Avro (they said they will use these to issue a final bill)  not holding out a lot of hope though to if it will actually arrive and if it will be correct)
It was definitely a lot easier and I had no hassle, when Iresa was taken over by Octopus
  • I received my final bill today for British Gas. All meter readings appear correct with the correct dates. I switched on 12th Feb. It's just bloomin expensive!

Are you paying or waiting for them to apply your breeze credit?

I'm all paid up. I gave Breeze my opening readings from British Gas, as BG seemed in no hurry to pass them over to them and Breeze altered my final bill using these reads as the final reads. I found myself in -0.55p debit. So I paid Breeze off. Not sure what I'd do if I were in credit. I'm just glad to be rid of British Gas to be honest.

I decided not to change supplier as I was in credit with Breeze and I thought getting that transferred along a chain of suppliers was asking for trouble, I did however change to a cheaper tariff within British Gas. I still have not had the Breeze credit applied to my account. I now have had a request from British Gas to supply meter readings but "opps something has gone wrong" is all I can get from their website and my previous readings are not available. The British Gas systems seem totally broken. Has anyone had any Breeze Credit transferred?
