I did my final readings for Breeze early January (when they emailed asking for it) so the credit built up paid that bill leaving me with a small amount of credit.

    Hi,
    Did you get the credit?

JohnB47, they now have Simple and SuperFixed which is slightly cheaper than SuperSave tariff .  I logged on to get a quote, the system recognised me as being a customer and asked if I wanted to change, you need to remember to change the date to todays date before submitting (its top right hand corner`ish of the screen)  Switching reduced my price by £6 a month.  I

My BG bill has been loaded onto my account.  From 16th Jan - 15th Feb it is over £50 more than I would have paid Breeze, will be checking it very carefully before anything is paid.  There is no credit from Breeze showing.
I`m also getting a little confused, please can anyone tell me what is happening about us getting billed from 22nd Dec - 15th Jan?  are the administrators sending us that one?   thanks everyone, really appreciate all these postings helping and advising each other  :)

I have just checked my bill:  the meter readings BG have used are estimated up to the 12th February and they have not used my readings given to Avro on the 15th,  I have been charged 31 days standing charge for gas yet only 28 days for electricity!!

Well you two at least have a bill to view I have paid mine which covered January to Feb, problem is I cannot see the actual bill!
I did not get a chance to call them last week, but will make time tomorrow I think.

I have spoken to BG about my bill, and they have cancelled it and are going to issue one final bill when the readings are sent to them by Avro, which suits me better as it was completely messed up and at least I will be able to check it accurately.
I also asked about my Breeze credit!  :open_mouth:
Vashawi : if BG was the supplier and the account would be active ... the Breeze credit will get transferred to BG
Vashawi : but as the account has been cancelled ....
Vashawi : the credit will get transferred to the new supplier
me : thank you, assuming that BG will send the credit to Avro? how long will this take please
    Vashawi : my pleasure ...
Vashawi : I'll be unable to comment on the credit
Vashawi : as there is no particular time frame
Vashawi : but ... please be assured
At this rate it will be sometime never that we get any credit owing as it seems its going to be sent from pillar to post!

Vashawi is talking thru his bottom! - when BG get all the info from Breeze they will add up the credits and claim the total from OFGEM - They are then responsible for ensuring that the ex Breeze customers get this either as a credit on their BG account or as a bank transfer into the customer's bank account. IF BG never had the account details (ie if the customer cancelled their DD for Breeze and didn't give the info to BG) then they should contact the ex Breeze customer to organise payment.

The credits certainly don't get passed onward down the chain!!

Thank you brewerdave, I am so glad to have left BG, as proved by many of our conversations with them they do not seem to know their a*** from their elbow!

Thank you so much for this. I've just gone through the process you described and 'renewed' my deal (which is only a couple of weeks old!) and am now on a cheaper one. Cheaper gas and leccy and a significantly lower daily charge. Good for me 'cos I am a fairly low energy user. How on earth did you think of doing that?
Come to think of it, there's nothing to stop us doing that at any time in the next year if Avro introduce still cheaper tariffs. Amazing.

Edit: Just remembered that a meter reading on today's date would be useful, as the start of this new tariff. So I've just done that.

Don`t suppose anyone knows that, but they are cheapest company for me and there is no tie in, so happy to give them a go.
