In your own Quidco account under Activity it lists the purchases such as opening a tsb account, might say Tracked £50 then to the right of that it says Estimated Payable which for most has been the same date exactly two months after account opening, hence 18th January.
The estimated payment date is pretty meaningless. I say this as a Quidco user for 14 years, during which time I have made several thousand in cashback.
They don’t obey their own t&c. They say 90 days but it’s two calendar months in practice.
There's never been any commitment to payment in 2 months, or any other timeframe. Some payments get made very quickly, others take absolute ages. My longest one, involving a complaint, took over 14 months from purchase. For TSB, I can see one estimated payment date which is earlier than the 90 days the T&Cs say, and several blank estimated payment dates. The estimated payment date definitely does not overwrite any offer terms.

How many TSB accounts can you open? how many can one person have?
You probably can only do one sole and one joint TSB Plus now, but also a number of sole and/or joint Classic ones in addition. Whether you get any cashback for any or all of them remains to be seen.
  • Have just checked on mine and partners quidco accounts and both our TSB cashbacks have been declined yesterday.
Have had to put a claim in for both so not looking too promising.

See #128 and maybe follow the link and leave a message for Quidco representative. There’s too many of us been declined for it not to be THEIR fault!?

If we give enough feedback they MIGHT actually do something proactive now instead of making us all go through a circa four month claim process.

My family member who did have theirs showing as approved is now declined! But they have already requested the cashback to be withdrawn. What's going on!?

You couldn’t make it up! It’s the tsb show.

I’m even beginning to wonder if this has all been a phantom decision day triggered by the estimated payment date being two months after account opening when maybe tsb do indeed intend to wait 90 days for a decision as per their offer t&c.:D
It seems very exacting to have given the decision for my account opened on the 18th Nov on 18th January a Saturday, and then the decision for account opened 19th November on 19th January a Sunday! And my account opened 20th November estimated payment day 20th of January? Well that’s tomorrow! Already cued up for tomorrow for another declined cashback? So they’ve worked it all out ready and cued up on the computers over a month early?! I call a c*ck up:cool::D

It’s strange because tsb have never put a foot wrong in the past.:)

I’ve just realised why my cashback claim was declined. It’s because I failed to deposit £500 in the account in February 2020 and even worse I didn’t make two transactions from the account in February 2020 either!

Written on 19th January 2020 when my cashback was declined two calendar months after account opening. A month before the decision day (should have been) 90 days in t&c.

Don’t worry I fully intend to deposit the £500 and make two transactions in February.

I think tsb are suffering from premature adjudication.

Neither have Quidco, ever. So odd. :rotfl:
  • I also got my cashback declined this morning with just the one account opened and all t&c's followed.

    Opened on 20th November?
Declined on 20th February one month early?!
