Mine is also now showing as declined but Mrs Z-man's is still showing as tracked.

TSB had automatically merged my new account into my existing login - but they created a whole new login for Mrs Z-man so, as others have suggested, this may be a factor. Though not a legitimate one, obviously.

Or, as Mrs Z-man's account was opened a week after mine maybe her decline hasn't been triggered yet.

I've raised a ticket with them - we'll see what happens...
  • Mine is still showing as tracked with a estimated payment date of 21st Jan, let's see what happens...
    Retired 1st July 2021.
    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."
  • Mine says tracked but not yet confirmed with payment date tomorrow.
  • I wonder if as well as all the declined folks making claims which is sensible in the first instance as it’s time limited, is there a senior TSB person who could try to sort this typically tsb mess out?

I remember a problem with a Nationwide topcashback claim I had. TCB blamed the affiliate employed by Nationwide and could do nothing but put the claim in. Nationwide blamed TCB and said it’s nothing to do with them as it’s a marketing promotion carried out by TCB (that they or their affiliate employed!) and said TCB were acting independently of Nationwide.
Obviously the affiliate has access to your personal account details OR the ones Nationwide furnish them with.

It seems no one is responsible. So I can see the same runaround if trying to get any sense from tsb?

Maybe, but no need for such worries yet surely.

We don't know how TSB and Quidco will respond.

    Give them a chance!

Don’t call me Shirley! (Sorry couldn’t resist!:))

True I haven’t given them much of a chance yet. I opened several accounts and as of today had four declined, i.e. all of them. £220.
I worked hard for that money!

I expect the problem will be the faulty/incomplete information that tsb have given to the affiliate they have employed to administer the promotion. I don’t expect the affiliate to have access to my tsb banking details. As it’s tsb it won’t be simple. Or maybe it will!

I have no idea or make any difference or if the person involved has any authority , but I did put a comment to quidco's representative on these very boards yesterday. It may help if we all drop a note on that thread.

Are 3 months already up since you first applied? I thought the offer only started in November last year?

    From the offer terms:
Cashback is only available if for the first three months from account opening you pay in at least £500 each month and make two transactions per month

So if you have duly paid in £500 and had 2 transactions each month, surely it's way too early yet to turn you down?

Mine still show as tracked but I think my applications were at least a couple of weeks after the early takers.

    .....as it’s time limited
In what sense it the offer time limited? Do you mean you have to fulfill conditions in the first 3 months?

    Typo? Did you mean £200?
