My sister's (opened Jan) and my cashback (opened Dec) were both paid back in September. My husband's was paid today which was opened in April. My dad's that was opened in Dec was confirmed today, however Quidco had paid it in Sept as a gesture of goodwill (his bonuses from Nov seasonal boost was paid).

My mum's which was opened the same day as my dad's and brother-in-law who's was opened a couple of days after have both been declined, however both have had their seasonal boosts paid in September which was connected to these transactions.

Has anyone else had theirs declined? Also they are trying to submit a declined claim but it is asking for a purchase amount, they have submitted a support ticket (not answered yet) but does anyone know how to get past this as they have tried £0 but system doesn't like.
Put in any value to get past the screen and try again. As with anything TSB related, it's poorly setup and flaky - log a complaint directly with TSB if no joy with Quidco.
  • My mum and brother-in-law completed their claims, Quidco said just put £1 in for 1 purchase. Now it's just a waiting game.

Can anyone else confirm if they had theirs declined or paid when opened on either the 17th or 18th December 2020? Reason given is that Quidco wasn't rewarded the cash, therefore used another company. But would Quidco realistically pay out bonuses of £20 and pay a gesture of goodwill of £30 if these transactions hadn't been confirmed!  As the bonuses were confirmed and paid on the 15th September when TSB had given Quidco updates/cashback as that is when my sister and me received our cash and my husband had an update on his TSB.
  • Both my mum and brother-in-law declined claims have been declined using the reason it won't be investigated due to the length of time that has passed. It has been 10 months since accounts opened and the decline which obviously was no fault of either members, as they had both chased the cashback when it was overdue.

My mum has already got a complaint open with TSB asking who they had sent the funds to if not Quidco, as Quidco are saying they weren't given it.

Is it worth raising a complaint with Quidco about the delay, the decline being 10 months since account opened when T&C's stated would be checked 120 days after opened. About chasing repeatedly and being told to just wait as no update. Also about bonuses being paid in September before apparently them knowing that it had been declined (which in it self is odd). Has anyone had any luck when making a complaint to Quidco and could they close your account if you push to hard?

TSB previously answered very quickly to myself and someone else that it had paid Quidco quoting payment reference number after Quidco stated that it had not received payment, I made joint complaints copying both in to correspondence, in my case Quidco paid  out of what it called goodwill despite remaining adamant it had not been paid by TSB

I promise both Quidco and Topcashback ocassionally keep the cashback to boost their profits.
I've had quite a few denied and the excuses of "retailer won't tell us what other referral was used" even though the retailer has said no other one was used...  it's all just very sketchy.

This goes a bit off-topic as it doesn‘t help those chasing their outstanding TSB claims: to be on the safe side, you should always clean your cookies immediately before starting a purchase through a cashback site, and then check in the next 24 - 48 hours whether your purchase has tracked. This approach has served me well with many thousands of £££ of cashback, never had one refused due to tracking disputes. Generally speaking, I find TCB a lot more reliable than Quidco, so I rarely even check Quidco now.

TSB are fairly disorganised, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're responsible for most mix-ups. Quidco are at fault for having them on their platform.

I doubt Quidco/ TCB will actively keep funds due to the reputational damage that would occur.
