Happy days - several people got paid their £50 today for opening the TSB Spend & Save through Quidco and fulfilling the pre-req for the cashback for 6 months. Time flies.....
Quidco currently offer £24 for a Spend and Save, but only for people who don't have any TSB current account already. Apparently you will also only get paid for the first if you open more than one TSB Spend and Save through Quidco. Topcashback has it for £20 right now. Race to the bottom..... T&Cs look the same as Quidco, but read them yourself.0 -
I suspect TSB is trying to gain more and more accounts ?with a view to putting itself up for sale, boasting of all the accounts it manages.
My regular saver matured last week, and they converted it to an "easysaver". The only way, I found, I could close this unnecessary account was by going into branch, or by completing an "online form" - which sounds simple enough, but then you read you need to upload your passport and do a selfie as part of this .... and so the account remains on the system!0 -

The cashback from using the debit card is additional, nothing to do with the quidco offer1 -

People that got their £50 in March for opening the TSB Spend & Save, did your Quidco actually have any updates on the transaction so you knew it wasn't going to be declined after the 120 days check?
I opened mine on the 5/12/2020 so my 120 days have passed. I didn't hold any previous account at the time and have met all the T&C's. I know that the cashback isn't due until July.
I know Quidco sometimes have an update transaction date, so you are aware that something is happening but not on all retailers.
Only asking as I took the offer up in 2019 for the TSB Classic when Quidco had the problem where they were all being declined before the 90 days and claims had to be raised.0 -

Yes, if you go to the activity tracking page, I think there was a status along the lines of 'Tracked' which changed to 'Retailer Decision' (akin to confirmed on TCB) in February before becoming Confirmed/Payable in late March.

I thought that the Retailer Decision just meant that they were still awaiting a decision from the retailer, as normally this goes green after 30 days have passed on the original purchase i.e. allowing for returns/cancellations.
I normally rely on the Status update, so if a date different to the purchase date or claim submitted date, then you know Quidco have had some sort of correspondence from the retailer. I much prefer TCB where they at least state confirmed, where Quidco use Confirmed as payable.
Can anyone also state if they had a transaction track at a lower rate, if this did uplift? As my husband opened a TSB Spend & Save today as Quidco has it at £60 cashback (not including the 6 £5 a month debit card) and it tracked at £30 which isn't even mentioned on site. I have taken photo's as evidence and sent a support ticket.0 -

No yesterday Quidco had the Spend & Save and Spend and Save Plus at the same deal of £60 on 1 web page when you searched under TSB Current accounts and then the Spend & Save Plus on flash sale at £55 + £30 with debit card spend on it's individual page. They were both as updated 12th April. hence taking screenshot and sending a support ticket.
Quidco came back today saying should uplift within 72hrs of tracking and today the page now shows updated 13th April to £24 for each. So must update just before midnight.0 -
