            It's quite incredible what a dog's breakfast Quidco have made out of their TSB offer.
I much prefer dealing with Topcashback these days. Mind you, they never had a juicy TSB offer

On another forum somebody posted this on 2nd February re Quidco - "have it tracked at £50 from December but shows as £24 for me now"colsten said:It's quite incredible what a dog's breakfast Quidco have made out of their TSB offer.

Maybe to clarify a bit they aren’t saying I didn’t meet the terms they are saying tsb haven’t got a record of my transaction through Quidco and that among possible reasons I might have given the wrong reference ID for my claim after it didn’t initially track. It’s all there sequentially from clicking through from Quidco to tsb and opening a spend and save account in one session without diverting away. Have a screen grab showing Quidco page above tsb account details and another showing we’ve recorded your visit to tsb.colsten said:
Yes, they are regulated by the FCA for certain activities. I am not sure those activities extend to all their cashback offers. In fact, I believe most of them are not subject to the FCA regulation. This then calls into question whether the FOS would be dealing with a complaint about Quidco's TSB offer. Hopefully we won't have to find this out, and Quidco will honour its offer terms as they were when the offer was taken up.Ed-1 said:
Quidco opt in to FCA regulation voluntary.colsten said:Semantics. The FOS is not a regulator, so Quidco are correct to say the are not regulated by the FOS.
However, according to the Quidco complaints procedure, you may refer an unresolved complaint to the FOS. You can do this at the earlier of- 8 weeks from raising the complaint with Quidco
 - a final response from Quidco

Jeez why can’t it be simple!0 -
            Have now had Quidco final response by email, it’s a no.
That leaves me with contacting FOS and my Complaint about the same decline for cashback which I await a response to.0 -
            I am still waiting since 25th November 2019. It was declined and I put in a claim on 27th July 2020. Have contacted Quidco numerous times to be told they have a dedicated team working on this. I don't have much hope!0

If you complain to TSB about decline pointing out how often you have communicated to Quidco about the matter, I atached screenshots showing that I had met terms and conditions of cashback offer ( ideally joint complaint with Quidco) TSB wll say if the transaction was really declined by them ( I actually had 2 seperate transactions Quidco stated as declined,after issuing joint complaints TSB stated both transactions had been paid by them giving me payment reference numbers for both, second transaction did go payable soon after I complained )

No, quidco maintained they had not received the cashback from TSB to pass onto me.Yorkshire_Pud said:
Did Quidco pass it on to you!?keiran said:I had an outstanding claim for an account opened on 25 Oct 2019. (although they have paid up another 4 lots)
Quidco kept claiming they were waiting for TSB to make a decision and pass the cashback to them.
Inspired by bristolleedsfan, I emailed the CEO of TSB, and they quickly confimed that they had, indeed, passed the cashback onto quidco.
They gave me the reference ID for their payment, and quidco will have to pass this onto me now.
So I reverted to TSB executive office, who paid me the cashback directly with a small amount for the inconvenience.
Incidentally I have today received an email from quidco, closing the case , saying "We have been actively chasing this for you however the retailer did not approve your claim. We have tried our utmost to get your claim approved by the retailer but without success. Due to this, we will not be receiving the commission and we are unable to pass this direct to you as cashback"'
MSErs can decide for themselves which party is correct2 -
            Quidco now offering £80 for a new Spend and Save TSB account.
All of us MSErs won't be eligible, methinks
""- You will be eligible for the Quidco cashback if you open a new TSB Spend & Save current account, you don’t have any other existing TSB current accounts and:-
1. Within the first 90 days of your account being open you register for Internet Banking, paperless statements and paperless correspondence;
2. Keep your account open for at least 120 days;
3. In three out of the first four calendar months after you’ve opened your account:-
(a) Pay in at least £500 each month; and
(b) Make at least two debit payments out of your account each month. ""
2 - You will be eligible for the Quidco cashback if you open a new TSB Spend & Save current account, you don’t have any other existing TSB current accounts and:-
 -
            Debit payments include online and mail order purchases, as well as in-store purchases (including contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay), Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and Faster Payments.
So I assume that means you can pay in £500 and then do a transfer back of two £250 which will use the faster payment method?0 -
            The wording now suggests if you close your accounts you would once again be eligible for cashback...0
