I had one opened on Oct 12, paid March 25. Not quite 8 months but there are no hard and fast dates with any cashback. Keep waiting.

Has anyone received their cashback recently and if so which month was their account opened?

Mine was due today (nearly 7 months since opened 5th December 20) and so contacted Quidco and they say it takes 8 months now to be paid and they had received a payment on the 28th June for accounts opened in mid October 20. Apparently the reason it takes 8 months is because they only have a small team dealing with TSB and didn't expect the volume of applicants they have had for the offer.

Feels unlikely they have only advanced a few weeks since my March 21 payout relating to accounts opened in late-Sept and early-Oct 20, but as Colsten has said you don't have any redress, just got to wait it out unfortunately.

Having waited a very long time, I have just had my Quidco £60 claim from 9th November declined. After speaking to Quidco about this they showed me some terms and conditions that state you cannot have more than one TSB account to qualify for cashback. However I have a cut and paste of the text that do not mention having more than one TSB account. Despite arguing this point with Quidco they refuse to acknowledge that the terms are different. I have met all the deposit and spending requirements but I knew that there was going to be an issue as I noticed that a few weeks later Quidco had changed the published terms to say that you cannot have more than one account.

Has this happened to anyone else? Would anyone have a screenshot of the terms before they were changed?

I've had mine declined in the last few days too but met the requirements...

TSB Bank is a third rate provider so not entirely unexpected they'd try and wriggle out of anything. I think this actually reflects worse on Quidco, gives the impression they tolerate shoddy providers on their platform.

Same here - declined. Although in my case they must be trying to use the following term:
    • If you open more than one TSB Spend & Save account via Quidco, you will only be paid cashback on the first account you open.
Previous accounts I've opened through Quidco were Classic or Plus accounts, not Spend and Save and I had no other TSB accounts when I put this one through.

This promotion really has been a joke.

I think its clear Quidco/TSB really didn't think that people would "game the system" and open multiple accounts in order to access free money.

A simple "one redemption per Quidco user" would have saved them so much hassle of retrospectively amending the T&Cs.

You'll have to argue the point with them that the T&Cs you signed up to didn't preclude having more than one account.

I had a Plus account when I opened the new Spend and Save account for the offer. It was the first time that I would have received TSB cashback through Quidco.

They have offered me £7.50 as compensation but I don't think 15% of the cashback is justified. The Quidco representative didn't seem interested in listening to me about the terms and conditions so I may try starting a new chat to see if I have any luck speaking to a different representative.

I would insist that they honour the T&Cs which were in force when you applied for the TSB account (you obviously need to be certain that you complied with those terms). If this is not accepted, I would then raise a claim with Quidco, and failing that, I would go to the FOS.

Thank you for the link, I've raised a complaint with Quidco this morning.

You'd have to raise a complaint via TSB for the FOS - there doesn't appear any route from Quidco directly.
