Worked today. Was going to run this evening but it is raining and blowing a gale now. Had to give up on outdoor cycling yesterday due to the weather and just use my spinning bike.
Had a grocery delivery yesterday which I am quite certain I added loo roll to but it didn't arrive and wasn't on my confirmation, the Tesco website has a habit of doing this occasionaly, anyway I had to ask DH to get some today. Other than that no money spent.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Today I am grateful for my extra earning endeavours coming to an end, for time with dd this morning, for a good day at work, for trying out a new workout and using my 12k kettlebell for it, for the forgiving nature of lycra, for dd being given a lift home by her best friend's mum, for a 'wear something bright' day at work being successful.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

To all the teacher types who are feeling ill, I sympathise, dh was all 'ha ha! I have beaten the cold before the students come back' then the students came back and they are all ill again and worse than before. They are all knackered and bone weary with it. I bought him some branded (!!) antiseptic throat spray today and gave it to him when he came home, and he nearly cried. 3 hrs of lectures and seminars with a sore throat is just not fun. So, I am glad for throat spray, having stocked up on ys lems1ps over summer (they are ood, just) when they were 20p a pack of 10.
Managed to clear and tidy the shelves above my washing machine this morning, they currently contain bodyboards, wellies from size 12 (kids) - 7, buckets and spades, diy tools, and quite a few dy10n dyes and stain removers. Now I can see them all. It was so boring sorting rawl plugs, screws, bolts, and curtain hooks into empty plastic containers, but now it is done and they can go and live in the shed. I have also hidden quite a lot of empty cardboard boxes that I can put gifts in at Mouse time. More stuff moved around.
Kids are daft at this time of year - electric scissors notwithstanding, I have had to tell the school some yr 5s are going onto the railway tracks . I mean how stupid do you have to be??? Then the school says 'are you sure?' Well, it is the main Leicester to Birmingham train line, and the stupid kids admitted to me they had been on it with their brothers and not died. No, I just fancied making it up for a laugh. Of course I am blimmin' sure!!
One more day of school until half term
Chin up CCL, yours will roll around quickly I promise. Have you plans?
Love the idea of training DS3 with a clicker and a malteser. Might try it out on dh. It does sound like ds3 is taking liberties mothernerd.

Ccl I really feel you, within the space of a week I have gone from cold but daylight walking to work at 6.30am, to a pitch black walk which means I have to change route as afraid to walk past the cemetery in the dark  but DS is more tetchy getting up in the dark and so ready for a break from school routine already. (Think puberty is due very soon)..
Popped in with good but scary news, IVA was approved by the time I finally had email I had talked myself into doing a DMP and not needing an IVA but deep down we are both so relieved. Just utilities and that to keep track of and now we HAVE to learn to budget and live within our means which oddly makes me happy. First payment is due a month from now so going to cwtch away every penny possible in a little emergency fund..
Slimming world last night wasn't a total disaster I stayed the same as last week which is an absolute miracle as I eat my worries and always have..
Nsd today not left the house, spending diary starting from tomorrow and back to daily postings to keep me on straight and narrow...

Evening All!!!
I've been remiss. Had a few days where I've been so damn tired. My medications were put up last week and since then I've been so incredibly lethargic and flat... Anyway - this evening I feel better... must be because weekend is nearly here :rotfl:
Recap:
Tue 08th - ended up being an unplanned spend day as paid out for a presie at work and got a card online for a birthday.
Wed 09th - bagged NSD number 6
Thur 10th - argh - I caved in and bought chocolate and some coke zero to try and fuel my flagging energy levels (it worked!).
Early night for me I think...
Thank you Mothernerd for the posts and the guidance. Your advice about feeling tired, overwhelmed and bad about yourself were so spot on and exactly what I needed to read today!!! Such perfect timing... I'll take it on board.
Keep up the good work folks! We are 1/3 of the way through :T⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Morning all! Yesterday was not nsd as I noticed there was no soya milk or spread left after breakfast. So had a small spend. Still on nsd6. Lots of salady stuff left in fridge so going to make pizza dough for tonight, and get rid of lots of it. My kids like grilled artichoke, corn, and pineapple pizza and don't think it weird, so the fridge will be run down nicely by the time all the greek salads and coleslaw and stuff is used up tonight.
I have woken up sneezing, so necked a lemon flavoured paracetamol based drink (TM) and I am hoping it goes away.
Cleaning the kitchen this morning and painting woodworm medicine on reclaimed (free) floorboards. Woo hoo! In readiness for laying them in the bay window and getting another frog off the list. Get thee behind me, froglet.

Yesterday was a spend day as I met my friend in town. We went to the cinema to see Downton Abbey and then for some food. I also bought a present for another friends birthday.
Today I'm going to see a friend who has moved into a new house. She now lives an hour and a half away. I'm going to stay over and come back tomorrow which I'm really glad about as I haven't driven all that much since the surgery.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.7.25 - £106,653.66

If a plant is sad, do the other plants photosympathise with it
I don't mean to brag but I finished my 14- day diet in 3 hours and 12 minutes
Chocolate comes from cocoa which is a tree. That makes it a plant. Chocolate is salad. (substitute vodka made from potatoes if you prefer)
Where can I uninstall my period

SUPERWOMAN'S Favourite Joke (from memory)
A man comes home and walks into the kitchen. Ther are dirty dishes and laundry everywhere. Two toddlers are trying to strangle one another, the baby is eating from the dog's bowl, the cat is on the worktop eating the joint of meat. His wife is sitting with her feet up on the table, reading a book and eating chocolates. She says" I thought the best way to show you what I do all day, was not to do it".
