Flipping mirror still stuck in living room, think I will reduce the price. All set for my next lot of selling. Just got to take photos and get on with it. Obviously like everyone Im not feeling very enthusiastic at the moment. Happy that I have plenty to do though, well stocked with craft stuff. Had permission to sell my birthday and Christmas cards at Hubbys cricket club out in the country side. Had them all themed to cricket, fishing, sailing and gardening as its a rich area. I was just packaging them when we got a message that the club was closed down due to the virus!!!!! Foiled again. Will do the Christmas cards as they will need to open as soon as they can because they need the income from the bar and clubhouse. Im sharing the price of the cards with the club as they need every penny due to losing a lot of weddings and events. I will not be defeated.Clearing the junk to travel light

Hey ginnyknit
Just popped over to wave and say hello. You are keeping yourself busy, shame that the club had to close, but you are bound to get the opportunity soon to help them out... Hope you get your things sold, and aren't tripping over the mirror for too long!"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Sadly the cards are labelled on the back with the club name as they are one offs just for there - theres always next year. Mirror still in living room
but not driving me too mad. Too many hospitals things for hubby last week and next week so have to concentrate on that and him for now. Will get myself sorted to do more sales the week after next when I can think again. clearing some more of Mums detritus at the moment, all off to charity shop. I tried to sell some dvds and cds to one of those online places but everyone must have had the same idea and they hardly wanted any of my stuff. Even a fiver would have done me but barely a pound so gave that up as a bad job.

Hope all goes well for you both.
I did look at a selling site for books, but, had same experience.... now they are at the charity shop where at least it will help a good cause."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

You've a proper little cottage empire going on Ginny.
I've a friend who does knitting to order, has her own group an FB and advertises over that and discretely on her own profile.
CDs / DVDs are advertised on local selling groups, either individually or as a collection.
I love how you repurpose items, that's a good money saver but not done as standard anymore.
Do keep up with selling, making and donating as you are on the right route to getting a 'van.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Afternoon all. Been busy with hospital visits for the hubby and untangling red tape. 2 more appointments Sunday ( cant believe that one) and Monday then he will have to rest a few days. He has PTSD so all the medical stuff is exhausting for him and wearing on my nerves......and relax..... Just got an order for baby clothes from 2 friends Yay! Also was given a bag full of amazing crochet dolls that need a bit of finishing. I spotted them on a local selling site and for once was first in the queue. The lady had an operation on her hand and was upset looking at them so I have them now. Once finished I will sell some for charity funds and sell a couple for me, then I can use the money for posting all my charity makes as postage is a huge cost for me. Have a couple of my bits on fleabay so will see how that goes and the mirror is sat here still. Have looked on E bay and these mirrors are expensive so am watching to see if they sell before I put mine on.Clearing the junk to travel light

So sorry to hear about hubby, hope he is sorted out soon.
Not an easy thing for either of you...
Such a lucky find - a bag of dolls, sad for the giver, but sounds like you will be busy helping out your good cause. Surprised no-one has snapped your mirror up, aren't they essential equipment for all those folks doing selfies nowadays? I.e. to check themselves in it first?"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."
