Skint again I think I have a long way to go. However my few sales this last week went well and I sold some rather interesting Japanese wooden masks which I wont put up in the house as I think they will bother the grand kids. I was also gifted some lovely pieces of fabric which I shared with a new online friend. It turns out she has had a horrible time escaping a dangerous situation and left all she owned behind - none of which she told me when she put out a plea for patchwork fabric. I had already posted it when she told me so karma was definitely in play.

Just crocheting a couple of blankets to sell as apparently they will be on trend for winter as people want colour back in their lives - gone will be all the grey!

I was going to throw away a perfume bottle with about 2 cms of perfume left in then I searched fleabay and lo and behold people buy them so that's one of my latest sales to go on.

Invested a wee bit of money on plants for the garden out of our "not been out for months" fund. The garden centre was empty so not too bad. Still penny pinching though, the grass seed was £10 a box there but at Wilkos down the road it cost us £3.40 and as we are only filling a patch its fine. I decided I needed flowering plants as well as all the veg I grow so a lavender and a few carnations brightened the place up.

Ive sorted out my plants and have grown a lot of succulents from my original plants so I have utilised a bread tray that was heading to the tip and filled it with pots of them to take to the charity garden centre when it re-opens. I have rather an excess of them now so am going to advertise them locally and see if I can sell a few that way. 3 NSD's this week Yay! Hubby gave me extra housekeeping out of the bit we have saved so I did a big shop with lots of cook ahead possibilities. I hate shopping and much prefer to do one big shop. Nothing in need of buying for a good few days apart from milk. Going to keep on making the blankets and see how they sell. Feeling a bit more like my old self today .

Its great that you are growing things to eat. I hope I improve this skill. Well done on decluttering your pots, and the NSDs and thrifty food shopping. Keep on those blankets you are going to be rich!!! I do hope the weather is good by you and that you have a great weekend ginny.

Things ticking over nicely here. I have advertised my plants and have had a few messages , just waiting to see what happens. One blanket is finished and Im going to iron a lovely white quilt cover ( nabbed from shopaholic sister in law) to display it on but its too hot to iron! Polytunnel is bursting with plants and lots of little buds of squashes and courgettes. Tomato plants are everywhere as usual, not quite as many this year but rather nice plants. Picked up some nice t shirts in the sale at Sainsburys so along with the new tops my cousin gave me Im kitted out for our holibobs in August. I spent £7.65 0n 3 t shirts instead of £24.
Saving pot swelling still as I have been very frugal and bargain huntery - slowly slowly catchee monkey as they say.

Managed to sell a few plants to nice people however the time wasters were rife. One messaged me at 1.45 am! Just waiting for one more to reply and see how that goes then the rest will go to charity. Im also waiting to see if anyone wants these t shirts of Sil's - freecycle type of thing as so many people are desperate at the moment.
