Oh that's nice to know I have inspired you, even broken jewellery sells now as its used in mixed media, especially if its chunky. My polytunnel arrived today, I did have a few panics wondering how big the box would be as I had options to have it delivered by Palletways or Yodel. I had visions of it being on a pallet!!. I have bitten the bullet and applied for a couple of craft fairs in good venues near Christmas to sell all my recycled and rescued stuff. I haven't done any fairs for a good few years as they were rubbish but now its all seems to be going well for people.

Few more sales this week so very happy. Another £30 in the pot. Have booked a Craft fair for next Christmas, just as a one off as its in a restored Monastery and we went to a vintage fair there recently and it was beautiful. My brother sent me 2 bags of bedding as his toxic wife decided yet again to buy all new stuff as they are trying to sell the house again. They only took it off the market at Christmas but obviously 6 month old bedding wont sell a house. Ive dyed some of the boring beige sheets ( hardly used) with a £! dye I got in a sale and now have burlesque red fabric to use in my upcycling. I cut up a big padded pretty throw he sent into a comforter for grand daughters bed here and one for mine too. Its brightened up my room considerably so I guess Im grateful for her being a shopaholic. Some of the beding is off to the charity shop and another quilt cover can be cut down for hubbys bed. He needs new bedding a lot as he is disabled and spends a lot of time in bed.

Off to the charity shop in an hour with a bootfull of stuff so another space gained.

Savingwannabee her stuff really is that new, the care labels are pristine and she doesn't like charity shops so it all would have gone in the bin! Listing day for me and I have a couple of nice bits to go on you know where. Some bits on FB selling pages so we will see how that goes, some go fast, some slow. Im knuckling down to the sewing this week as I have nothing urgent on. Hubster took me out for lunch yesterday and we had a look round a vintage market but I only spent £2 in a charity shop on some Laura Ashley fabric samples which I made in to brooches last night. Bit of a head ache today so being good to myself.

Im in the midst of a bidding war on fleabay! I put on a couple of cross stitch kits and sold them - 3rd time lucky. Then I popped on a Beatrix Potter board game that I bought in a charity shop years ago. Apparently they are rare and mine is pristine so that got a day or so to go and has a bid already. Last but not least I put a game from the 60's and already the bids are flowing slowly but surely. Cant wait for the lovely kerching on my phone. We are not going to be going out much I guess so am keeping busy. Missing my Mum as my brother and I decided she should isolate herself from all but him( he lives close by her whereas Im 25 miles away and still have to mix due to helping out with the grand kiddies) Its safest though as she is 90 now and in fine fettle.

Well the bidding war went well, 2 very satisfying kerchings. Everything, obviously, suspended except trying to keep my pennies in my pocket for now. Well stocked up on craft things so am keeping busy. Stay well everyone.

All quiet on the selling front, I really don't want to  risk sending parcels to people at present. However despite not getting out much before the crisis I must have been spending money somewhere as I am now able to top up the savings pot a bit more. We are trying to keep occupied and my only limit is my pain. We invested in a polytunnel in early March as our plastic walk in greenhouse died a death last year. The poly tunnel was much stronger - bolted together silver aluminium rather than that slot together green stuff. It cost £50 including delivery - bargain! However when we got it ready to put together there were 4 pices missing from the base. I contacted the company doubting I would get an answer in the crisis but promptly did. They were amazingly helpful and first tried to source a second tunnel and I could keep the other one which pleased me immensely :)  but there wasn't one anywhere. Then they suggested replacement parts but couldn't source those either. They kept trying for a couple of days to resolve it but to no avail then I was offered half the cost back which I happily accepted. We found some angle iron to use in place of the parts and have a sturdy, amazingly cheap poly tunnel now full of pots os seeds.
