Yes we are all well here Savingwannabe, hope you and yours are too. Im just going to sew some wee dresses for grand daughter as she loves pretty little simple shoe string slips. Being 4 years old its quite easy to do what they call a pillowslip dress. I drew round one she has so I am all set. Her first one will match her curtains :D Saving slowly but surely as Im resisting the temptation to shop on line apart from some dies to make pictures with little madam and some plasticine to use as a mould for plaster of paris plaques for Christmas gifts. Ive made a lot of cards to sell and have used old amazon brown paper as part of the decoration - waste no want not!

It's fantastic that you are sewing for your granddaughter and making Christmas gifts. It is so creative and so MSE. When you see your granddaughter she will be so happy with her new dress.  I hope your tomatoes work out. I don't think mine will so I have cheated. Stay busy and stay happy.

Strange days for sure. I decided online selling would be  a waste of time with the chaos at the post office but I sent my mum a parcel and a letter and they got there next day??? So when hubby gave me a brand new jigsaw he didn't want I decided to put it on sale. Its a 7 day period for bids so I was quite surprised to have 3 bids in the first half an hour. Who knew that the world of jigsaws was so cut throat! I think I may start selling again but choose carefully what I put on. I also decided as life was too short so I'm using fabric and ribbons that while they haven't cost much are quite special. Better they are seen than stuck in a box. Savings still ticking up as I haven't been out to spend much.

Lots of jigsaws are being sold on f£cebook by me. Glad you are working on a special crafting project. We are the same for savings. It has made me realise how much unnecessary spending I do in the supermarket and at work. Try to enjoy the lovely weather today.

I never thought of selling them on FB! I sold a few jigsaws in the last 2 weeks and now bored with standing in the queue at the post office lol. Have a few things Im selling but really not in the mood to apply myself. I have made a lot of crafty stuff this week so not wasted time. I really need to list things on Folksy now. Not much in savings this week as I have to send my Mum a parcel every week to give her a boost.

I am glad you are treating your mum. That will be lovely for her at this worrying time. Good luck with listings. FB is v good. I sold lots of my clutter on it.

Still trying my best but the bottom fell out of the jigsaw market on fleabay :D Im making little gifts for some of my friends to brighten their days. I managed to get a good load of bargains in Lidl this last week by being in there when it opens - only time I can go nowadays - saved a lot of pennies, well pounds actually. So my freezers are full and the tin cupboard has all the basics in so no need to shop most of this week apart from milk. This means I can add a good chunk to the pot if I behave myself. Ive just sorted out a box of craft stuff and chucked a bit away ( paper so recycled) Im finishing things off that are lying around which means I feel in control a bit.

Hurrah for full freezers and decluttering non essentials. It's so good you are making things for your friends. Well done on making savings this month great news. One step closer to the caravan. My neighbours across the road have one and I am envious as they can galivant whenever they feel like it and there is so much to see!

Have had a busy time, posted a couple of knitting booklets on Fb and got a good price for them. Listed some things on fleabay and if all goes well should get a nice chunk of cash - crossing my fingers. I also bought a rather expensive doll on Fb for a fiver! Grand daughters birthday gift sorted and a pleasant drive to pick it up.
