Well Ive had a busy few weeks selling and a very happy Ginny I am. Sold two items , one which took up space and one that I forgot I had -£100 altogether. I also won £20 on the lottery. Feeling very positive and everyone now sees how determined I am so cheer me on. Before it was just 'Oh ok well done' now they are a lot more enthusiastic. Mainly seasonal stuff left now - faux fur coat for example.Clearing the junk to travel light

Having a break from selling etc for a couple of weeks as we are off on a short break next week with Jenni and co. It will be chaos but we have her new partner with us this year so a lot less work for me and hubby. We wont be spending much except for a stock up at a cheap yarn shop and an excellent charity shop. Ive made a little sun dress for Bethany based on the 'pillowcase dress' Have to try it on her tomorrow night then I can make a few to pop in the case. They are perfect to throw on when she goes to the onsite pool. Looking forward to being somewhere different after looking at these 4 walls for so long. Going to settle down after this and empty much more stuff from the house. Now the charity shops are accepting things here I can finally shift it all.Clearing the junk to travel light

Back from the wilds of Blackpool. Couldnt have a swim, limited places and the children needed it more than me. Went to Blackpool, Morecambe and Fleetwood, it rained and everywhere was very empty. Happy to report we hardly spent any money! We always go to help our daughter with the children ( especially autistic boy, my best buddy) Also happy to report her new partner was totally supportive all week and more than did his bit. I gave them a couple of lie ins, they had time to go shopping in the evening and stop for coffee and cake then one night they had a long peaceful walk. Getting up at 5 am every morning with my boy was hard work but i get to sleep whenever I want at home.
Now down to the hard work, I wrote a list of things I need to do and its very, very long! First off found a charity shop that will take all my brothers stuff I had been minding till they re-opened as he moved house. I have been given a nice mannequin which was supposedly broken but turned out just to be put together wrong so the outfits I have to sell will look much better photographed on her. I dont think I will be able to do the 2 craft fairs I booked for Christmas as some venues are demanding you wear one of those visors which I cannot do, nor do I have access to use card payments. Its really not worth me doing card payments for the only 2 fairs I will be doing.
Finally able to post the boxes of handknits to one charity and sewn driver bags to a cancer hospital. I think we may be able to swing the cat in here soon. Savings in tact and thanks to 2 little lottery wins have grown. My Mum does the lottery not me, I just give her the £1 a week.

Wishing you a great month.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Am keeping busy ticking things off my list and finishing projects for selling. Had the kiddies as usual last night and kept the boy for the day - thats what we have always called him, its a term of affection - as he doesn't go back to school till tomorrow.
Very little spent so far this week as we are living out of the freezer etc.
My daughter returned my solid wood based cheval mirror as she needs room for a cot so thats in the middle of the living room while its up for sale. I love it but its will be in the way in my bedroom now. Its perfect for upcycling. Lets hope it goes soon but at least I will be fit limboing round it all day .Clearing the junk to travel light
