Well I have been busy the last couple of weeks, sold lots and finally any minute now the elephant in the room will be gone - the mirror!!! I randomly posted it on Fb selling page last night while I was on the phone to my friend -  next minute it was sold. Also sold some craft bits and my Mums coat ( hardly worn ). Damn shame the charity shops are shut as I have loads of lovely things for them. Just bagging off some odd balls of wool for my friend next door so she can do some crochet. She lost her job and apart from being broke she is bored silly. Right time for a cuppa before the mirrors new owner arrives.

  • Keep going, it all helps you and others. Maybe see if any women's aid, collections for food banks etc are taking clothes as there's a couple in my local area.

In the next week I plan to clear a space and set up a photo area for all the things I plan to sell and put 5 things on at a time so Im not carrying tons to the post office.

I find Facebook marketplace better than eBay & Gumtree. It saves on P&P and chore of taking stuff to and queuing at the post office.

Im using a mixture of sites for general selling and the mirror went on Fb local page. A lot of my stuff is collectables that appeal to a certain market so have swopped some things at a specialist shop, thats hubby Christmas present sorted   :)Im going to sell my crafts on a new selling group and am just checking out the details. I have done some pics ready. Just about to post all the craft things I have made for a charity to raise funds so thats another box gone. Sold a wreath on fb the other day - everyone and his brother is making wreaths this year so I didnt expect to sell the few I had made so that was a bonus. Im going to gather a bag of my crochet blankets and donate them rather than them sit here, they are better being used.

  • Well done on the selling ginny. Lovely idea to donate the blankets I bet someone will be happy to give them a new home.

  • I love the idea of the caravan.
I am also decluttering and find the more I clear the better I feel and the easier it is to clean. I am selling my house so I look at an item and ask 'do I want to take this to my new life?' It gives me clarity.
    Well done with the mirror

Im freezing! Just put an item on Folksy but must do my homework prior to listing as i need postage costs to Europe and Usa for each item. Sent out my charity donation parcel of crafty goodness so thats ticked off the list.  Posted a wee knitted Christmas baby outfit to a friend as her D-I-L is struggling with a new baby and all the stresses we are living with.  Made up a big parcel of vintage odds and end and they have gone to their new home too. Needed to step up a gear now and finally found a charity shop accepting stuff so the hall will be empty at last.
