  • Joining you on the shivering!  :) Thank goodness for thermals..... You are doing brilliantly on the selling and crafting, maybe you should be knitting a lovely 'snug' blanket to cuddle up with for yourself, this weather....? :)

Am happy to report I now have my hall back. Charity shop happy to accept it all. Now Im posting stuff online in various places to sell. Have had a thaw in my 2 year frozen shoulder so am slowly getting back to some normality. All those things hanging around on top of the washer waiting to be ironed or sorted have gone so another tick on the list. Am finally seeing something for all the work, more room slowly but surely.

  • That sounds great ginnyknit - especially about your shoulder behaving itself better. And the laundry done - I always feel better when there aren't any piles hanging around & it looks tidier. :)

Frozen shoulder much improved ie excruciating pain mostly gone unless I do anything stupid. Tendonitis in bicep is slowly decreasing with deep tissue massage, heat and wisdom lol
Well things have been pretty good here, Dwp decided they owed Hubster money from a year ago so I can have a new fridge freezer at last. The rest will be kept as a cushion for car repairs etc.

My new grand daughter didnt arrive on Christmas day ( personally I think thats good as birthdays get ignored) she popped out on the 28th obviously waited till 5 am lol. So the other 2 woke up to grandma wandering around then we brought them here where I can work the cooker.
I won a competition for a rather expensive model which came in for hubbys christmas present though it hasnt arrived yet.

Now its time to get the house organised and do more paring down. I have actually organised the Christmas decorations, now all boxed and labelled. Will now store them on an unused shelf in my office off the kitchen. I did this as a little snowglobe smashed and ruined a few treasured items.
I was enjoying the charity shops  both for donating and shopping but thats gone again  :(

Oh no poor you -  the pain of a frozen shoulder. I do  hope it get's better quickly. My friend has injections to stop it regularly. I hope you will enjoy the new year with a new grandchild, a new fridge freezer and a cooker when it arrives. Fingers crossed you get better. I miss the shops too but it means i cant waste money.

Some good things to look forward to ginnyknit! You will have fun experimenting with the cooker (& nice stuff in the fridge freezer to choose from); lovely news on the new grandchild, hopefully with the injections being rolled out, it won't be too long before you are hitting the charity shops again - and it should be nicer weather by then.

Will it ever stop raining? seriously affecting my mood. Not much going on here, just getting through the day. Arm much improved if I behave myself. Re-organising the tinned food cupboard is the high light of the day. Could be worse so counting my blessings.
