Irene maybe I should advertise it as a selfie mirror
Dont forget Im home all day and dont have marking to do after a days work so I have lots of time to spare. I could actually fill a shop or have a whole craft fair to myself and believe me I have considered both! I cant stop making things, or I would go crazy. Im often up for 20hours at a stretch when Hubster is struggling with pain or reacting to his meds so I have learned to keep occupied. Getting ready to do more fleabay now the hospital trips have stopped for a while. Local sales page is a dead loss so will try another page next. Right onwards and upwards, first job take the last of my nail varnish off as I look like a tramp, then washing to get sorted.

Local selling sites are hit and miss, also depends on the weather, time of year and which way the wind is blowing!

That's a good point about being occupied, it certainly beats cleaning! I definitely think expressing yourself creatively can 'take you out of yourself', especially if you are physically stuck indoors...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

My teaching friend is crocheting and says it is helping her to destress. I hope you can find a market as i am sure people will want home made things they are so much nicer than shop bought things. I hope you are having a good weekend.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Wonderful news, my daughter got engaged last night. Its a bit shutting the stable door type of thing as she is 7 months pregnant lol. I am so proud of her she is such a good person and has finally found someone who loves her, understands her and has brought a calmness to her life.
My Mum won me another £20 on the lottery! it all helps. Sold some baby knits to a friend so another few bits gone from the stack. Lots to do but havent been feeling upto it this last week. Got a bit of gardening done in prep for winter and am pleased with myself about that. I actually have ticks on my list!
Must pull my socks up and get more done this week.

Aw, congratulations to her and you! Sounds like you need baby things for your daughter, but, best of all, sounds like she has her perfect match....

Keeping busy, still making the Christmas decorations for the charity to auction and they are coming along well. Nice big box full hopefully. Cleared more to the charity shop and more to go. Sent my best goth mate 2 black satin bridesmaid dresses that my niece had done with, she is a seamstress so will create something wonderful with them. If I had sent them to a charity shop they would probably gone in the rags. Sold a box of miniature things to an artist friend and my mini vintage sewing machine has at last found its forever home.
Sadly the cheval mirror is still stuck in the living room but have found a space in the garage for it where it will be safe from damage. Coat on fleabay has 6 watchers so someone will buy it hopefully. Happily plodding on.

Your work is inspiring Ginnyknit! I'm a total hoarder and am kicking into gear to sell things too. I've only just started but I can see how it could get addictive
Great that you've got skills to make and sell things as well as a community to pass things on to. It's great seeing things get a new lease of life
