    Afternoon all :)
Not feeling it today, decided to take it easy for once, in the hope that I can shake off this virus!
    Today's small list:
Used a brown banana and some HG raspberries for breakfast fruit
Cleaned bathroom and sorted sink / dishwasher /worktops etc in kitchen
Watered raspberries, blueberry bush and tomatoes
Checked banks, collected together receipts etc and updated spending diary and spreadsheet
Load of washing, which I am about to peg out in the garden
    Fridge stuff for lunch
I will do pasta in tomato sauce for dinner (easy and cheap, as tomato sauce is HM from HG tomatoes)
Will iron the few items that need it.
    No spending planned!

Be careful with this lingering bug Dawn - I thought I had a virus and it turned into that pneumonia. It might be worth a docs appointment. Even if they suggest steroids, you don't have to take them. But I think it would be worth checking it's not a chest infection xx

Thanks guys, I know you are right. I will give it till after the weekend, then if no significant improvement, I will undertake the battle to get a GP appointment :(
  • Hi everyone :D Had a busy day today as I needed to go into town for some bits. It was a bit too much for me at the moment, so annoying that I can't just snap out of it and feel better

    Still I have:

    * done TOMM :D
    * made pesto pasta for tea. It went down a storm with madam :T have 1/2 a jar of pesto left which I will pop in the freezer for a meal next week ;) Also used up last of the frankfurters. Madam also loves these but I don't so often there are a couple thrown out. No more!
    * In town I was getting madam's autumn clothes - figured it's easier to get in one hit  rather than dribs and drabs. Got a few bits I was looking for in the cs :money: I have chosen a colour theme and everything goes with everything. Should make the challenges of madam wanting to be in charge of getting ready a little easier ;)
    * picked up a pair of pinking shears in the cs for £4 :money:
    * started sorting out the fridge

That's all. I might do some sewing when madam goes to bed.

Hope you all are doing ok

  • Hope you're on the mend soon Dawn.

I have had a couple of mega busy days at work and I'm so tired trying to get back into my routine I have had very little time for doing anything else at all. So it's been work, trying to sleep and very little else. It'll take me a little while but I'm determined to get back to it.

I have now managed to get it back up to 57 with 7 stars by driving sensibly, and will aim to get this up and keep it up for the month! I've also been having the windows down rather than turning on the aircon.
Hi Twiggy I have gotten a bit addicted to the average MPG on my car, which measures similarly just less efficiently. On a good run I can get it up to 62MPG - that makes me happy.

  • Hi All

I'm managing to keep up with this weeks thread unlike last week.

DNMS you sound very organised with madam's autumn wardrobe, what a fantastic idea having everything coordinating and managing to pull it off.

Toni'sfriend I've been taking the same tablets 3 times a day for over 15 years, the amount of times I forget is ridiculous.
