As a sort of strategy, I’ve printed off some 100 squares and allocated one sheet per debt, then every time I make a regular or overpayment, I colour in the required amount of squares...I’ve found it good for keeping motivated.

Wow I couldn't sit here for this amount of time having read all 388 posts and not comment. So sorry for what you've been through. Good luck on your journey x3

Sorry to hear you've been poorly
hope you feel better soon. Migraines are the worst.
So pleased you're not with your abusive ex any more, just reading that made me feel awful so I can't imagine living it.0 -
Not sure if you are aware but you can buy 400mg Ibuprofen (generic name for your brand) from behind the counter in the pharmacy (but not out on the shelves). Personally I find codeine based painkillers work better for me because I get the nausea and pain when I get one. After a serious back injury I am able to get higher dose than they can sell over the counter (on prescription) but I believe you can buy Paracodol or Solpadeine (soluble) that are 500mg paracetamol and 8mg codeine without prescriptionSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!

Hi Emma, I've read your diary from the beginning over the weekend and I just want to applaud you for making it through everything that you had to go through with your ex. That abuse is just not ok. And i also want to say that I think you are so strong for fining the courage to change your situation and leave. This is the start of your new life and you will get there. I think you're doing great.
Really impressed with your ebaying - that must make quite the difference! Hope you're well and the migrane shifts.Sealed Pot Challenge 075

I’m sure the lady will be happy with the £300 I know I would be, if she isn’t give her the receipts and she will see the proof or just tell her that if she could of done better then she should of done it herself, don’t stess about it just take it easy and relax0

Hi Emma, is trading on eBay still worth it, you must be into 40% tax bracket now with your wages and trading profits, never mind the extra NI.1

Paramol are very effective with migraines. They are paracetamol and dihydrocodeine. MrM suffers terribly and is now on prescription meds but prior to that, these over the counter meds were the best he could find.Suffolk_lass said:Not sure if you are aware but you can buy 400mg Ibuprofen (generic name for your brand) from behind the counter in the pharmacy (but not out on the shelves). However, I believe that Codeine can be addictive/ habit forming, so I'd exercise caution with painkillers that have it as an ingredient.Suffolk_lass said:Not sure if you are aware but you can buy 400mg Ibuprofen (generic name for your brand) from behind the counter in the pharmacy (but not out on the shelves). You need Imigran tablets, you can get them over the counter from the chemist..They are part of the Triptan group.I have been a migraine sufferer all my life and these are the only tablets that work.If you go to the doctor they can prescribe Sumatriptan tablets. Paracetamol,Ibuprofen don't touch migraine. The Triptan tablets work 100%0
