4853emma said:Morning. I'm tired today. Been walking a lot and I think it has caught up with me. Went for a walk yesterday but left the dog behind as it was quite a steep walk. Walked past a farm and a big white dog came bounding out and followed me all the way around. I couldn't shake it off. I walked past the farm on my way back and it just trotted back into the owners house. I told him that his dog had followed me and he said he had been looking eveywhere (he hadn't). Told me I could keep her as she is a pain.
Didn't win the £17 on Paddy Power but sold a coat for £20 and a bra for £10. I treated the children to a takeaway last night. It cost me £16 but it was lovely.
I've backed off from the woman with the shop. I figured that I can't afford to spend too much time on something that isn't going to bring me any benefits. She taken some of my advice but her clothes are really expensive. A cardigan is £40 and isn't even a brand. She charges x2.5 of cost price.
I've been in touch with some more suppliers and so when I have some more money I'll start to invest.
I also have a policy that is due to mature this year. I paid £7 for 15 years and get all my premiums back. I think that's around £1200 coming my way. I'm not sure what month it is coming but I know it is this year.
My debts when I first had the moment of panic were around £45,000. A staggering amount. I've cut around a third off that. (I need to do some proper figures). I still feel overwhelmed but I know I can move in the right direction. I'm no longer living on credit or using overdrafts and so although I'm not pumping loads of money at the moment into paying it off I'm not adding to it.
Great that you’re not living on CC’s and overdrafts, this is something to be really proud of!!April 2020 - £102,222 Loans/CC’s.

That's all so sad and drives home the need for genuine human contact in times of crisis. If this crisis has taught us anything it,s how we all need to try and find the best coping and self resilience strategies we can for coping with the crises we all come up against in our daily lives. But nothing beats a hug and a reassuring hand squeeze when we face difficult times. . I,m sorry about your loss it,s doubly hard to deal with these events when under the pressure of current events. .3

So sorry to hear your news. Nothing really helps in these circumstances, but just to say I'm thinking of you. (((hugs)))
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Oh Emma. I feel like I know you from reading your diary. What a journey you’ve been on. I’m so sorry for your loss and hopefully it won’t be long before you can give your family a hug.
ignore your mum re the sweets she’s just frustrated with everything that’s going on and it’s such an easy target to take her emotions out on. I agree it’s a lovely gesture and what a lovely memory you have of your dad and sister growing up.
Re your ex words fail me. Why would someone make up a divorce reference? Control and playing with you that’s why and it’s such a low blow but he’s got no other weapons in his arsenal so he’s really scrapping the bottom of the barrel trying to get under your skin.
sending you virtual hugs

I do hope you are keeping a diary of all this (other than this one) with dates, names etc. Given his track record, look to accumulate evidence.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I asked the husband about the divorce and he said that it has come back to him as he didn't include the marriage certificate. I've realised that loads of my Jewellery has gone missing. He admitted to have one piece- my wedding necklace. I told him that I couldn't have stolen things from him like he has me. I don't think you could get much lower than that.
He asked me for his spare car key as he is getting a new company car and they will charge him a fortune. He said that he has spoken to the car company and they can trace it to half a mile from my house. That's a blatent lie. I told him that he hasn't a clue what he has lost and it's much more than a key. Said it was my fault as I gave him no attention. Bit difficult to gush over somebody who is clearly disloyal and not following the rules of marriage. I knew I would be the cause of his behaviour.
I bought a pair of walking boots last week, £50 reduced to £14.40 including P&P. Fantastic boots but they have damaged my feet. I'm walking like John Wayne today.
I've decided to work really hard this week on Ebay. I want to clear my house out and up my bank balance.
