It`s always the small things that ` break the camel`s back` Emma.  I guess they wouldn`t normally fall out but little annoyances rear the ugly head.!

Have you got any contact details for your DD to call her friends? We are busy setting up a variety of video call or free video conference options here - WhatsApp and Messenger both work on my tablet - more important for children - maybe WhatsApp video with a couple of her friends for half an hour on your phone using home wifi?

    Hi Emma!

Great to hear that dog is on the mend... I had to laugh at him shouting back at you, as that is what mine do if I tell them off!  LOL
I think it is starting to sink in with people that this situation probably won't change for quite some time.  Acceptance of this will be very hard to deal with, but I'm trying to take comfort from the fact that though I can't 'see' the people I love at least I know they're safe. It makes it more bearable.

Well done on the Casino win!

I do think that a lot of people will want to make changes to their lives when this is cleared up.  Also think that there will be loads who just want everything to go back to what it was, which, in my opinion, is not such a great idea!
I imagine just from the stop that's been put to pollution during this, that the Earth is breathing a sigh of relief.
Also given that people have been able to work from home WHY do they have to return to offices etc when this is finished?  It could do away with the daily commuter rat race if everyone WFH, and make a massive difference to the environment.... I'l get off my soapbox now!!
Take care of you and yours.  ((hugs)) XX

Oh, checked my DMP this morning and I owe less than £32,000. Feeling pleased with myself when my debt was well over £42,000.
£32,000 is a huge figure but sounds a lot less than the big 40.
That's a brilliant achievement!  You should be proud of yourself.  My current debt is around £32k at the moment. It's a slow process but we will get there.

    Keep well

Family etiquette! Flipping nora. As you say you don't have to find it.
Anymore of those lying around to stick on Ebay?
I hope you're feeling stronger soon.
I really feel for you son. Must be so confusing for him. As long as he still gets in to college it'll be fine xxx

Why ` must` you put in £50?  If they`re family surely they appreciate the situation.  If not remind them.  I would be happy with a card/ bunch of daffs  or a smiley face!  This mindset ( from family) has to stop!

I feel for your son. My girl is also yr11, but her school had two sets of mocks, she had literally finished her second set the week before lock down. She did quite well and had already sat her complete business gcse and they are planning on still submitting her photography peices too. She is quite academic and I know she will get what she needs for her A levels, but she will always have that nagging doubt about her grades. Have to remind her that no one will care in a few years, but it's still a huge deal for them.

    And £50 for a bil! I don't even send mine a card 😂
