Good for you. Stay objective. You're seeing it right when it's so hard to see when you're in the fog of it. Take this time to shrug off the stress. XxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

It sounds horrendous! Is it legal to be watched by cameras all day? What reason do they give for it.
Definitely did the right thing by taking time off. Sounds as though you need to go on the sick with stress! Hope your Union is up to the mark and you get it sorted to your satisfaction. ((hugs))I Believe.....

That’s a huge workload. Is there not a long term supply in to cover the teacher that is sick and if so, why aren’t they at least collaborating and pitching in with the planning? Good idea to ring the union and hope they are helpful.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Keep a dated journal of the changes, extra things you are asked to do, any hostility, reprimands and anything that makes you uncomfortable. Maybe do an end of day list of the things you have done that day - you might need it. It feels here as though it is either bullying or some lack of trust issue and your evidence may be needed.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Good job you have the union to refer to and check things with. Sorry to read about the formal capability. FWIW the TES has a section that’s more like a chat / forum, which I found quite an eye opener, in terms of how teachers have got through / approached/ dealt with such times.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Make sure you keep a written record of this Emma - if it goes to formal discipline or worse you need the evidence of how your confidence has been undermined and your stress levels increased by their behaviour.

Please stop feeling guilty. You're a human being, not a machine, and like the rest of us humans can be overwhelmed by what's happening to and around you. Your Mum's right, work do have a duty of care towards you, and I'm glad the Union have taken up your case.
Try not to think to far forward. Try to use your time off work to good effect for YOU. (((hugs)))I Believe.....

60 hours a week is hard to sustain in the long term. Your health is important. Glad that you have advice from the union to help you.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
