Well done for seeking motivational help. If yiu onky take on board some of the hints provided they can still make a big difference to your life if practiced regularly and distancing from yiur ex will allow you the ability to see more of his ha it's in a different perspective. And walking is always good for clearing the thought processes!1

Well Emma, despite the panic and possible over reaction , just remember that it shows youare loved and cared about in these difficult times. Imagine what it might be like to be alone in the world and have absolutely nobody in the world who cared about you, where yiu could be dead under a bush and nobody even missed you! Next time perhaps choose a different companion to go walking with though !4

Hi Emma
I have just sat and read your whole thread today. You really are inspirational.
Your ex sounded like a very manipulative, controlling person. If you haven't already, might I suggest you seek some support from domestic abuse agencies as he is still exhibiting this behaviour toward you. He is still trying to coercively control you from afar. This will also benefit you in your divorce proceedings as, should things such as mediation be suggested, being a victim of domestic abuse would likely mean you are exempt from this.Been around since 2008 but somehow my profile was deleted!!!5 -
Is there any way you could sell the giant TV and then buy a much smaller one? I don't really get huge TV's either, I think ours is far too big and it's a 42". But I had to compromise as hubby is a gamer. We do watch TV, but mostly stream stuff. But by selling and replacing with a much smaller one, you can still be thankful to your parents, but also accommodate your needs.
Hope the ex brings the dog back.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
I sympathise over your hatred of big TVs. We also rarely watch and have a laughably small one which does for the news and Gardeners World and that's about all !Please do think whether it,s a good idea to let your EX walk the dog again. If the dog was visibly upset by the encounter it,s not fair on him, and he will end up becoming a bargaining tool. That,s not fair. Do you really want to maintain any contact with him? If not, don,t let him use the dog as a weapon. He,s let himself go Mentally and Physically and you will only get get get drawn back into the net you!ve been trying so desperately hard to escape. There a saying that "stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Please don,t get caught a second time. He won't change.
as for your walking friend, I would develop a case of political plantar facitis or some other foot problem and tell her walking is off your agenda at the moment or pick a very short walk that can,t be extended.0 -

The entire world is drowning in debt, from countries to businesses to individuals
the answer seems to be more debt-2 -
And struggling businesses will be desperate for us to spend our money when they open and most of us who who have been through hard financial period before will be saving any penny To preserve what they have so it,s a difficult conundrum and I don,t know what the answer is to that one. I'd dontt envy the Chancellor of the Exchequer his job.
if we end up having a period of roaring inflation perhaps the only way to protect ourselves slighly is to perhaps invest in replacing expensive pieces of household equipment now before their price becomes even more unaffordable. However low demand may mean manufacturers have to try and keep prices as affordable as possible to attract business so perhaps I need a lesson in economics to find the answer to that one!1
