Good morning guys
I’m up early so I’m checking in while enjoying the peace and quiet.
Thanks for my number Apple.
Yesterday was a NSD so 3 so far this month.
Yesterday was work and since it was rainy I’m afraid I got a lift into work.
Food was fish and peas and then the rest of a bag of raspberries and the last two yoghurts wandering round the fridge. I’m running my stocks down at the moment so today will be a tin of minced beef ( from my emergency stock) and a big pile of cabbage. Doesn’t sound very exciting but is yummy.
We have to move out for a month when the builder gets to our renovations so I’m going to build back up when I’ve got my new kitchen.
It’s supposed to be a nice day today so I’m aiming on walking into work. It’s a 20 minute walk but after 6 hours on my feet I’m afraid OH will be coming to collect me. But one way is better than none.
Apart from that not much to tell really
Anyway have a super day Ninjas

Apple muncher that made me chuckle!! However, Zorro always.
Yesterday was my first spend day of the month. A little down really as I paid all my bills and some of my minimum debt payment and now money is short for the next 17 days. Oh well, all part of being grown up I guess.
Got writers group tomorrow and then therapy on Friday but, the therapy is a required spend so I don't include it as a spend. Not sure about writers group though. Today will be an NSD either way.No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 1340 -
Morning ninjas.
Yesterday won't go down in the history books as the most exciting I've ever lived and as a result, I bagged my 3rd NSD. In actual fact, I see that being the case today and perhaps even tomorrow too.
Back up to Scotland on Friday, so I need to get my ducks in a row for that, which will probably mean a spend of some sort, so I'll do my bed to contain it all to one day.0 -
indigowarrior I feel your pain! I have zero spare cash except for food!
Just checking in
Minimised-
waste- we had some sweet potatoes rolling about at the bottom of our fridge so I used them to make chips last night!
Unnecessary spends- yesterday I only spent what I have absolutely needed to, & after eyeing up the Joules sale this morning decided not to buy anything as I don't NEED to buy my children any more clothes , so today will be NSD number 3! I also woke up to my LO having outgrown his shoes over night , but I had a quick route in my cupboard & found some in the next size up that my eldest has hardly worn & they seem to fit perfectly! I will ask hub to check them tonight though! I fell out of love with paying £50 a pop for fitted clarks shoes when 2 new pairs ripped my sons feet to shreds last year & now I attempt to be a bit less snobby about it....
Maximise-
Exercise - I did an hour on my bike last night & did my weights at the same time for my bingo wings, I am in pain today! Tonight I might just do a bit of Yoga!
Generosity - need to get my thinking cap on as I haven't done a random act of kindness of a while...0 -
Busy day at home for me today. Lots of food prep and cleaning to do before I go back to work for the rest of the week.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning Turtles!
Yesterday was indeed NSD1. Today I need crisps for lunchboxes as I have either totally forgotten how many days are in a week, or I have mice......large, boy shaped, red haired mice.
This morning someone from a W4steN0t group is supposed to be coming to take away a headboard, so I am tied to the house until 12. Plenty to be getting on with but paranoid about missing a knock on the door. Silly I know.
Zorro is Spanish for fox. Could you imagine a fox/turtle hybrid with a cape? I think he must just have a mask fetish. I can think of worse things to have.
Carrying on with the crazy dreams, last night I decided nails were a good idea for body modification so had a load hammered into my face.... Bizarre....
Suffered with sciatica from 8pm, not something I have had in years.Very annoying and hopefully gone again for a while.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hey ninja fox-turtles!
Yesterday was NSD 3 for me. Taught for 10 hours (not all in a row) and only had enough time in the evening to inhale some dinner and faceplant into bed. did not sleep well, was too hot and also had crazy dreams!
Today is a quieter day, thank god. Hoping for another NSD. Lots of spanish practice yesterday... my ears hurt
Resisted buying coffee and managed to bring my own flask with me today

Day 3 - NSD
Day 4 - NSD
Yes life is really that dull, tried long walk last night, heavens open sheltered in friends house who gave me much too much gin before I got home for my tea. oops.
Today think I may have wasted £21 as booked Chester zoo for Friday now weather forecast is heavy rain and thunderstorms, fingers crossed it changes by then as taking 2yr old round in that won't be much fun.
Paid off little bit off my debts today so feeling tad happier.
Off to see if I am on cheapest tariff with British Gas looking at Martins newsletter this week.

When I went last year Calling, I found it was definitely worth buying a ticket for the monorail (can buy in advance on the internet) - stops in various places and you are travelling over the enclosures in places. I didn't make enough use of it but the trips i did were well worth it (got to share a carriage with a young man - his mum had his pushchair for back up - and had a lego and trains discussion). Lots of the animals have indoor space so if you plan a bit it would be very doable.
When I went with college about 12 years ago it was raining and the elephants were reluctant to put a toe outside. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Hello,
Another NSD today and went to the gym at lunch time.
Managed to put only about 7 kids books in the "get-rid" pile. Stupidly let the kids have a look and decide which not to throw out and the number twindled from 30 to 7. Note to self - also do that when the kids are out. At least the kids love books
Tonight the living room will be sorted. It's a mix of toys'r'us and HMV. Not very relaxing at night.
Did my food inventory, meal plan and shopping list. Food bill is looking a lot better, it's the ad hoc spending that's needing controlled now (days out, quick ice-cream, strawberries, last minute fiends round for bbq, although I try and have sth in the freezer for that at all times now etc).
Found a kindred spirit in two work colleagues and we exchange budget friendly recipes and experiences with them. We all got a folder now, sorted my main meat or veg that we test our way through.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
