    ]Minimise:
-bills - Will look at insurance on BTL (due June) Am hoping energy usage is lower due to nice weather = line dried laundry and fewer lights on. - have left renewal notice on kitchen side to look at later. Yesterday's rain meant washing was partially linedried and also on the heated airer
-clutter - Sunday- benefits of scrap wood in chiminea. Binned several random small bits of toot which have been hanging around. Shredded old passports. Shreddedsome paperwork no longer needed 're my Nan. Found something for flebay
-toxic situations and people - a family wedding this month could be 'interesting'...… :o tried to keep out of way of person at work who really annoys me.
-unloved items - see clutter :)
-unnecessary spends - ok - spends Sunday on more bracing for decking and few items at Tesc0. Spent on chippy takeout 10.50 for 3 of us last night..... oops
-waste – food and other - too many chips so some went in bin. Freezer left open on Sunday so some ys beef and ys chicken sadly ended up in bin. Several small random bits of toot in bin. But lots of things recycled.

    Maximise:
    -dreams (dream big)
-fruit and veg intake - bit ofafail yesterday.
    -fun + laughter (so important!)
-generosity (donate, give, help others) stayed on for extra 3.5 hours at work yesterday
-getting niggly jobs done (then they can stop bugging you) - OH finished top of decking. I filed vat return. Dr applied for student finance.
-health (don’t pay for health issues later in life – be healthy now!)
-moving more (goes with health. Get shifting that booty) - 9.7ksteps at work mustcount for something!!
-time with those you love (you can’t do this once they’re gone. Make the most of them now) good chat and laugh with dd last night

    NSD 0

Thankful for: OH WFH meaning I could stay on at work without issue. Rain for the garden last night.

Day 4 already, and I am hoping today will be my first NSD.
Did get some YS sourdough loaves from Aldee which are now in the freezer. Trying to go for quality over squashy white bread, and everyone loves a sourdough in this house.

Mr Hamster's house has been cleaned, and he is not too upset about it today, so the hoovering has been done, and the laundry on the line last night dried, and more to go out between all these showers we are supposed to be having. The sky looks remarkably dry.

Stayed in to sign for a parcel delivery for DH, so I am getting stuff done which is on the list.

Also potting up my borgettes and cukes into their final resting places. Might even make it onto the tomatoes!

Going to finish another book today, and move it into the box of books to leave the house.
I am stressing about DS1s exams, which is silly as it will not change the result. He will get the results he deserves for the work he has done (we are all doomed!).

So today I need nothing, and nobody has a dentist appt!

Sleep is awful, I keep being married to the wrong person. I wake up feeling trampy!

Diet is going well. Last night was breaded baked cauliflower, pittas, and salad.
Tonight is sticky sesame aubergine and cauliflower - it will have 1 tablespoon of sesame oil between 6, and I will halve the amount of maple syrup the recipe calls for, (I am using stuff up from the pantry) and it will still be lush.

So apparently I know what I am doing today, who knew?

    Good morning,

First two NSDs in the bag (yesterday and today).

Downloaded two free language learning apps to try out. I've given up on the book keeping course just now as my heart isn't in it and it's a right drag. Might pick that up later though.

All of my courgette plants have been eaten now. And only now did I find the slug pellets, grrr. They even started nibbling the peppery rocket. But I got back up seedlings coming. Also for the beans and pumpkins and sweetcorn that got nibbled or died of the cold in this year's lovely wet Scottish spring.

Less screen time is definitely working for the kids. So rather than TV up to bedtime they can have an hour after dinner and everything goes off at 7pm an hour before bed. So much nicer. Let telly time slip a bit recently and it needed reigning in again. That also gives me a narrower window to get my stuff done and then spend time with them rather than rushing around. The last two days we did Origami and it was great. Gosh, I hope I won' let the old habit creep in again.

Started a declutter with the kids. Yesterday we removed some puzzles and toys not needed anymore. Today we'll tackle the books in their room.

back from my 2 in 1 appointment - I would normally have seen the consultant but from the results of my sleep trial (they apologised for neglecting to tell me the results) it was obvious that I would benefit from the CPAP machine, if I could get along with it. Apparently I stop breathing 60 times in every hour I am asleep - my body corrects it so I don't die but it doesn't make for quality sleep.

So quite severe sleep apnea and am now trained to use the machine and mask and have all the times for cleaning various bits written down (daily/ weekly/ monthly). It makes quite a noise (warned Beloved she may need earplugs) and the mask makes me look a bit Hannibal Lecter but sleeping properly and not being permanently tired would help with so many things.

Brought the machine home in its little case with pockets for all the bits. Quite heavy and I also had a bag with food, drink and a book to read in. Only half of the buses come all the way home so had to get off half way (timetable and bus stop info contradicted one another). Went back round the corner to wait for a 'through' bus but the one I wanted didn't stop there. Trailed all the way across the village green to the previous stop and that didn't have our bus either.

Retraced my steps back to the original stop, tried to reconcile the map with the road layout and worked out where I had to go (couldn't go forward to the stops nearer home as there were a roundabout and several major roads including the one to the airport to cross and a distinct lack of pavements). My arms had stretched a foot by this time, one hand had ingrained marks from the bag handles, my foot, shoulder, knees and back were complaining.

I stopped a bus with the right number but it was only going to the turn round point. Had 15 minutes to kill so crossed the road and sat on a wall drinking my water. Crossed back before my bus was due and thankfully it brought me all the way home. Nearly bought shopping in town and phoned for a taxi straight to mum's but decided that would be extravagant (had lots of ys bits in the fridge to make us a picnic tea) so staggered on slowly.

Had to force myself back out to do mum's shopping and then found there were no taxis available for an hour so dragged myself home and am resting. Still been a good day overall but so tired and hurty.

Today I am grateful for some help with my sleeping, that the mask in no way resembles the ones my dentist used to use and for enjoyable ys bargains (Milano salami isn't diet friendly but it was only 30p).
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    NSD today - 3/20.
On my electricity bill which I pay quarterly they compare the usage compared to same period last year. I have used 10kwh this year compared to last year. Readings were just recently done.
    Grateful for:
    Temp work.
Pleasant student who was doing the exam.
    Self care this afternoon/evening.

Today I am grateful for my counsellor, for amazing bus connections home, for a workout, for a swim with dd, for getting admin done, for coming to a decision about the end of the week, for the rain watering the garden, for a text from big sis.

I remember I wanted to be Zorro, but I also wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. I obviously had ideas above my station.
