Want a sleepover but bf won't allow it?

Okay so I've never had a sleepover with friends before and I've now got the opportunity to do so however my bf is unhappy with it. I know I'm an adult and it may seem odd to have one now but should I not do a sleepover just because my bf is unhappy because most of my friends are of the opposite sex? Or am I being selfish and should respect his opinion and not do it?

I think he has a point. worth considering how you would feel if it was him planning a sleepover with several friends of the opposite sex.All that clutter used to be money0

I thought sleepovers were for kids.
It all sounds very odd.
Why do you want/need a sleepover?
Are you going somewhere with a friend and it's easier to sleep at their house than to get home? e.g. a gig or something
Or do you just fancy bunking down with friends?
If it's the former, I can see the reasoning.
If it's the latter, I'd ask how old you are.
Are the people at this 'sleepover' going to be male?
If they are, whilst I (sort-of) understand your boyfriend's concern, do you really want a relationship with someone who 'won't allow' you to do something you want?0 -

Stick a bowl of condoms in the middle of the room and just go for it, invite the BF too, he might enjoy it, on more than one level. :T:TAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Had to laugh, I thought this was going to be about a child of the OP's and BF wouldn't allow the child to go on a sleppover at their friends.
So we have a female going to sleep over with a bunch of males, yer right, sounds more like something else to me, but as this is not an adult site I won't use the word I think I should.
