    Morning :coffee:
Just a quick check in from me to say I'm still reading along although very busy. Exams just take over my life at this time of year.
I've not had any nsd's since I last checked in because I've been in London over the weekend. Everything can be claimed back on expenses though so in time I'll see it again. I worked all day Saturday and Sunday and was home by 10pm last night. I've brought a cold with me and feel pretty dreadful this morning.
Should be non spendy though as I'll be working all day. :)
    Roll on payday!

Good Morning Turtles! (just about still morning)
Stayed up until ungodly hour this morning watching the election results come in. Was still up before 9 and cleaned the kitchen and did the washing up.

DH is doing lots of cooking as it is the BH weekend (and he fancied sushi) so the washing up is horrific every mealtime. Food is lovely though.
    Just chillin' out today.
Payday on Friday, budgets ok. Plans for half term, just not today.

    Gratitudes:
Finding Agents of Shield last night
That 1 in 3 people bothered to turn out to vote (wish it were more)
    Having a plan
    Sunshine between the showers.

NSD No 15 (I think I might be getting the hang of this!)

Yesterday evening the two little ones came running in and dragged us (and most of the other neighbours) out to see a beautiful rainbow. Oh to be innocent and live in a world of rainbows, unicorns and fairy princesses. They really lift my spirits and make me laugh.

Watched the election results till stupid time and didn't wake up till 10.30 am. Absolutely unheard of in this household. Have to agree, F0xh0les[/B, so disappointing that more people don't vote. My Father drummed it into me (he came from a very impoverished background) and I would never consider not voting. But it is every individual's right to make their own decision, I guess.

So today, washing done and half dried before the rain came on. All hanging upstairs now and should be dry to iron tomorrow. Absolutely pouring down now.

Things to do tomorrow. Himself offered to take me for lunch tomorrow but we honestly have so much food to use up that, although it would be nice, it isn't really necessary. Also off on Friday so will be having a meal in Edinburgh on Friday night. So something from freezer tomorrow for lunch and dinner.

Hope you're all having a nice day off.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Hi all :j

    Budget: No spends today

    Enjoy the month
Another day out planned for Wednesday, then the following week too - but that's next month.

Read Yep will be reading in bed soon. 2 widely differing books on the go atm.

Reduce, reduce and reduce Garden waste bin out for collection for the first time tomorrow.

    Increase Still to do.

Move it! Fair time outside with the dogs in between the showers.

Post 3 gratitudes every day Grateful for the pigeon that fell down the chimney this afternoon not making too much mess (!), easy meals from leftovers, time to chill in greenhouse this evening.

    No! no eating out today.

Think of others Thought of bird phobic 2 adults in house whilst throwing a sheet over the intruder whilst also removing the cat from the room who thought it was great fun. The others did at least open the front door so I could release it, less a few feathers..

    16 NSD: Now 10/16

    Pay to your debt/savings OK

Plan the month: Outing this week & then visitors next, but that's another month.

Check in every day Here I am, hello folks

SPending continues - but in a considered fashion :D OH bought some new decking planks and finally got around to laying it :T - is about 2/5 of the way through and should hopefully get it done next weekend - weather permitting. We visited the local farm for gelato (yum!) and had some spends also in Tesc0 (used an expiring CC voucher as I couldn't find anything to spend it on like days out etc, so then transferred the amount to hol fund) Smalls both helped OH in the garden - DS2 got to use the saw ….. I potted on most of the tomatoes, planted up some more pots (pretty flowers!) and did some weeding. DD continued clearing out in her bedroom - a good amount of stuff has gone :T

    Thankful for
    * dry weather in the day - line dried laundry
    * rain later on to water the garden and (almost) fill the butt
    * garden plans

  • HI all! apologies for being AWOL, been away visiting family. Been lovely and a bit spendy but not too much - sis and I took parents out for lunch to celebrate SM's birthday; and I also went for lunch with other 2 sisters - lovely lady in queue gave us free vouchers for hot drinks so only spent £4.95 on a jac pot.

Haha apple - I definitely have not recycled my car - I need it to get to work even though it's done over 100k miles now!!

Budget - still on track and my dad kindly gave me a little money towards petrol and for my 2 x DDs so we shared it out :)
Enjoy the month - had lovely weekend with sis and caught up with most of my immediate family
    Read - yes most days
Reduce - defrosting sausages for tea, B from stores
Increase - done loads of walking with sis and dog
    Move it - as above
Things I am grateful for - family; DD1 having confidence to drive 100 miles on her own to visit DD2 and that my DDs enjoy spending time together; being off work today and making a 3 day weekend into a 4 day one :)
No! no unnecessary spending will be done but I will try to get some birthday presents for DD1
Think of others - gave colleague some flowers on Friday to thank her for her support
Hope everyone is keeping well whatever challenges life is throwing at you
