We all had a lie in this morning, the dog didn't get up until half ten! I sorted all the clean laundry in the guest room and DH and I have both done a pile of ironing each. Drove to my favourite NT site and one of my favourite places on earth. Not much walking done as DH has either hurt his foot at the gym or got a touch of gout (he had a bout a couple of years ago).

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow as DH can't hobble far and the weather forecast is heavy rain all afternoon. We have a couple of bits in the garden that could do with taking to the tip and I would like to clear the ironing, could do that while watching a movie.

Budget As well as can be expected. Roll on payday.

Enjoy the month Visit to my favourite place today, cheese scones, the sun was shining and the rhododendrons where in bloom.

Read still on book no 10 but reading 3 new cookery books too

Reduce, reduce and reduce some more
Processed Food and Booze - Eating has gone very well this weekend but did have 2 beers yesterday (gave me a headache) and a glass of red with dinner tonight
Weight - Our scales have conked out and have me 3lb above where I started which can't be right, my trousers are much looser, and have had me loosing weight all month. Our other scales have me 2lb above where the other ones said I was before they went crazy. Will see what I am on Tuesday and work from there even if it looks like I have gone up a bit
Food Waste and Plastic - Used up 2 courgettes in some Italian veg and bean soup adapting a very old 0 point WW recipe, used up some wrinkly apples in an apple and sage sauce to go with pork this evening

Increase, increase and increase even more
Water - Took a water bottle in the car to drink today
Family Time Spent Outside -NT visit today and play on the playground with DS
Clean Eating Meal Planning - I have created a meal plan for me for the next week, lots of new recipes to try

    Move it!
Walking - Walking challenge has been cancelled
Running - Depending on what we do tomorrow, I may take myself somewhere flat and try and run a slow 5k without stopping. It is very hilly where I live which is making the training much harder and I am struggling to make progress
    Dog Walk -He's been out
    Yoga/stretch - I HAVE BOOKED A 6 WEEK YOGA COURSE (starts in June)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j
    Post 3 gratitudes every day
    1. The newish iron making ironing the guest room bedding easy. It took me an hour with the old iron and still looked creased!
    2. GF cheese scones in the NT caf!
    3. Finding the perfect throw to go in our living room
    4. The new and very local yoga studio doing just the right class I was looking for

No! - Scone and tea out today

Think of others - May have time tomorrow to make a start sorting out the charity donations

    NSD - 5/16 approx
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Dolly - well done to your dd. Both for going ahead with the expedition and for really pulling her weight. The other girls sound like lightweights and bullies. Hope dd sleeps well and recovers quickly. My sister camps in a 1-man tent and it is smaller than her rolled up sleeping mat!

f0xh0les - m+s do slips. I had to buy one for my mum a while ago. Lovely white or beige coloured nylon loveliness...

Chocolatelover - well done looking after your friend. How is ds these days?

Toni'sfriend - nowt wrong with being in holiday mode. Enjoy it!

Today I am grateful for the warmth, for watching trashy tv (Independence day 2, tail end of charlie's angels, tennis, giro 19), for dd having a decent appetite, for not having to go to work tomorrow.

f0xh0les - it seems it was the teacher that said she had to carry the tent because it wouldn't fit on anyone elses bag.

Spent quite a bit of money yesterday. Bought two cabin bags for upcoming trip, a mini plastic greenhouse, a water butt, some dog treats, chips (DH & I ate them by the canal), 2 pairs of pj's for DS in the sale, 3 pairs of lovely thick boot socks for DH in the sale and 2 pairs of winter tights for me again half price sale. Felt a bit sick after.

Going to put the greenhouse up today and sort out the water butt, also taking DD for a haircut and am hoping to go for a run.
