Today I am grateful for not being overwhelmed by my to-do list at work, for working with some wonderful people, for my half term having started, for a sunshine-filled day, for getting online stuff done and passing the standard so I can continue with it, for dd digging out the wooden train track to play with, for a garden full of daisies, for a good book.

  • Evening everyone,

budget - spendy as had hair cut and bought some shopping for DD2 who's at uni -but within budget; DD1's car has failed MOT and needs £250ish of work to pass so I may give her a bit of money...

Enjoy the month - lovely day off work :)

    Read - probably not today

Reduce - recycled loads of cardboard that is in random places in the house and my car; all food from stores

Increase - nearly 10k steps and went to pilates tonight

    Move it -as above

3 gratitudes - day off my FT job; lovely hairdresser and very reasonable prices; BBC iplayer! watching a housey programme and chilling before an early night

Think of others - bought a bunch of flowers in Aldee for colleague who has been very supportive

I have also been to vote!

    Nite all Deni xx

Deni - I read it as you had recycled your car!

Can anyone tell me how to change the time of my posts, as they are still coming up an hour early. In fact, so are all the posts - at least on my devices...

    Morning all.

Gorgeous day here by the looks of it, not that I will see any daylight until 5pm. Work today and it is mega busy now I have actually started doing something only problem is I don't actually know what I am doing as I've had barely any training.

    NSD yesterday and Wednesday.

DD went on the D of E in the end, it was all a bit will she won't she, it's a long story but she's on it now and comes home today, worst thing is this is a practice expedition:eek:.

Today I have no idea what is going on.

    I am winging it.

Child benefit paid early as Mon is BH. I had forgotten and so was totally confused when my bank balance was not what I expected.

'Spy post' reward card bought the makings for 5 meals for £0 real money - I only bought frozen stuff on offer at half price. ha ha ha! free food. Went to Mr Ts and ended up after the vouchers and m/o coupons getting over 30% off total bill. marvellous!

The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting, the plants are growing, it is the last school day before 9 days off for half term.

    Happy Friday Turtles!!!!
    Gratitudes-

Apologies havent been posting this week. Away beginning of the week and my body is just recovering. Mainly jumping around and lots of walking, mild drinking involved. = Enjoying the month fantastic gig and seeing my football team parade was brilliant

    Budget

Food £130/ £80 knew this might happen as my cupboards were bare at the start. Looking healthier now.

Read my plans for tonight with a glass of wine.

Reduce - must have done something - my gas/ electric month payments have been reduced not a lot but it all helps.

    Think of others
    - helped old guy with his trolley in the car park as he was struggling to walk, let alone push it. You would think shop assistants would have offered to help before he left the shop.

    NSD 6/16
    terrible !

Pay to debts - paid £610 so far this month so very happy with that.

    Grateful for

    A quiet weekend planned.
    Funniest grandson.

My brother being alright, after a fall, pictures his wife sent were horrendous, had stitches and a scan. I was upset a lot last night but thankful he's ok.

Move it - done lots of walking this week, yesterday and today not so much my ankle is hurting. Rest it tonight and see how it is tomorrow

    Budget All up to date

Enjoy the month looking forward to this weekend with hopefully time for a long walk if the weather holds

Read still on book no 10

Reduce, reduce and reduce some more
Processed Food and Booze - No plans to drink this weekend, we must plan our meals for the weekend and next week or we will undo all our good work and eat rubbish
Weight - Lost almost 8lb against a target of 10lb for the month so chuffed to bits :D
Food Waste and Plastic - Must find a use for 4 courgettes

Increase, increase and increase even more
Water - Still not guzzling enough
B]Family Time Spent Outside[/B] - planning lots for the weekend, walked DS to school Wed
Clean Eating Meal Planning - a bit hit and miss this week, must get back on it but need some new menu ideas for next month

    Move it!
Walking - Walking challenge has been cancelled
Running - Not feeling it this week, have only ran once :o
Dog Walk -Dog has had lots of walks but is finding it a bit warm
Yoga/stretch - found a runners 30 minute practice but not done it. Got as far as getting my mat out. :o May go to a 1 hour Pilates intro on Sunday (comes with a free lunch ;-)) and looked at classes ran by council. We are lucky to have 5 council ran gyms and pools within a few miles of our house several do pilates classes I could attend.

    Post 3 gratitudes every day
    1. DH colleague covering his shift tomorrow so he could have the whole weekend at home :T

    4. Helpful colleagues answering my dumb questions :o

No! - lunch with friend yesterday for £8 but a rare treat out of my personal spends. May have a scone at a NT site at the weekend

Think of others - this weekend I will be sorting out a lot of books and stuff for the charity shop to clear the front bedroom and some unwanted food items to the food bank

Himself offered to take me for lunch today since I didn't get yesterday, as planned, but I felt he wasn't quite 100% yet so we have just stayed in. It would have been a waste of money and we have loads of food in the house. So we've had a bit of a quiet day. It's been quite nice really.

Reliving our recent trip to Germany by having Currywurst and chips for dinner. Not particularly healthy bu very delicious.

Still reading my next book and have downloaded lots for our impending holiday. Lots to do next week before we go. Apart from that not much happening here.

    Have a lovely weekend,
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
