Wow well done on all the NSDs guys. I'm still here, lurking and reading and plotting how to get myself back on the wagon AGAIN
I think I need to make an old school progress star chart or excel chart with coloured bricks/blocks (can't remember whose idea that was on here but I loved it) so I can see every day what I need to do and tick it off... only these 5 things... shouldn't be that difficult
- exercise
- meditate
- spend less
- drink less (or nowt)

Ordinary glass absorbs 97 per cent of the UVB rays that cause sunburn and some skin cancers, and 37 per cent of the less harmful UVA radiation. This translates to a protection of about SPF30, so you can still get burned with long enough exposure, but it will take a while. I do like the sun, but I will burn in today's conditions in about 5 minutes. Hence my love affair with sunbathing behind glass :rotfl: I used to do it with my kids when they were small and you have to avoid the 11-2 sunshine (we have more than a tinge of ginge going on over here), find a sunny patch, spread out a towel, give them an olive oil massage and paint their toenails electric blue - my boys are all too old to let me get away with it now, but they do cast envious glances at my painted feet still. Was guaranteed to give me a good 90 minutes of all the kids asleep at the same time in the middle of the day. It might have looked a bit like a crime scene, to the casual observer, but my 90 yr old nosy window peeking neighbour thought it was hilarious (not so much the naked trampolining - the kids, not me!)4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thursday!
Epic fail yesterday at many many things, but a NSD (really can't remember how many but I am still within budget with a small excess and I still have my vouchers for Mr T's.
Only have a very small list of things to do today, so should be a rousing success (famous last words).
Please vote today - even if you just draw a picture in all the boxes or just leave it blank - It is not about how anyone votes, but the right to vote is still being fought for across the globe, and we have such a rubbish turnout sometimes that it makes me despair. 35% of the population should not be making the decisions!
You can vote as long as you are on the electoral roll, you do not need a polling card, just to know your name and address. Sorry, rant over, back to purdah.
Sunny day all day - no after school clubs!- might make scones.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Yesterday was #11 and today will be a spend day, unfortunately.
I've trip away with work tomorrow morning and I need new shoes, so a trip to the shopping centre tonight for a pair. Shoes also often tend to be a comparatively expensive item to buy so I'm hoping I can find myself a bit of a bargain somewhere.0 -
Morning all
spent yesterday on new shoes for work - skechers - comfy, quiet and light. From an outlet, so pricewasnt too bad.
Smallest off school today as school is being used as a polling station. Thankfully Dd is available to look after him.

Quite agree f0xh0les and I will be voting later today !
I have been to Aldeee to stock up on popcorn for DD2 as DD1 is visiting her at uni this weekend. I've had a chilled morning on a jolly with one of my self employment roles and am off for a haircut in a bit - budgeted for. Lovely to have a day off from my FT job which is very unpleasant at the moment. I feel chilled today though. Hope everyone is doing ok DxxLBM - October 2018; finally debt free on 16 March 2021

The best laid plans!! Himself woke up the morning with a sore throat, cough and streaming eyes. Absolutely no point in going out for lunch. If he's better tomorrow we'll go somewhere locally and go into town next week.
Had just taken something out for the Boy's dinner when he phoned to say he couldn't manage tonight so curry back in freezer for another day.
So been to vote. It was actually a bit busier than I thought it might be but I suspect the turnout will be low nevertheless. My father always drummed it into me that I should always vote and I've never missed one.
Early night for both of us, I think.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

apple muncher - Thanks. I am trying to control my spending due to my plans to move also my emotional spending. Also not having an ex friend in my life also helps as she was financially draining as well as mental and emotional draining me.
NSD today - 19/20.
Grateful for:
Nice relaxing bath.
3 hours temp work.
Speaking to a nice, polite and positive student at the school where I worked today.
Nice people who were working at the polling station. Have been seeing them over the years.
Reading.
