apple - I'm happy for you to run June and will pop over in a mo. I got the same fruit pack as you did and have a ton of goosberries which I am suprised about, I thought you would have more being in the south. How are your blueberry bushes doing?
Returned a £3.99 item yesterday then spent £4.75:D. Took the kids shooting and spent £19.
We were supposed to go camping this week but after a lot of arguing we haven't gone - I am not happy, DS wanted to go, DD hates camping and DH is a fairweather camper.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Does it count if everyone who meets your family immediately asks on leaving - you are adopted, right?
Delighted to have been the cuckoo in that particular nest.
They have no idea where I came from, and I never had any idea where they were coming from. Over 20 years of not having seen them again is priceless.
Woke suddenly after an awful night of random shouting on the street - exams are over and the houses will all be emptying for the summer hols now - someone was scraping a brick along the road outside at 7.20. It is a distinctive sound, so I had to investigate, and am now having a relaxing coffee while my heart rate returns to normal. Rah!
Dolly - totally understand where you are coming from - I have sabs here too, I am just going to have to book for 6 people and if 3 or 4 of us end up going then that is fine. At least we will have gone (UK only)
Have you looked into the YHA? you can camp in the grounds of a lot of them, but you could book your two delicate blossoms into a room, and you still get to use the facilities, just a thought. At least you would be away.
Can you tell I am feeling restricted by my brood? GCSE revision sessions begin again tomorrow and Friday and again an extra one on Sunday morning next week - the higher, further, longer, wider, maths papers are on the Friday and the Monday so there is a cramming session on the weekend. Really good of the teachers to do it, but it is eating into family time.
Today is Leg0 m0vie, small food shop (just a few items, not grapes and peas) and passport photos!!!
No doubt there will be a park and bike combination as well in there somewhere.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Apologies for not posting. Bank holiday weekend seemed to keep me busy.
Good news I didn't spend a bean.
Sat - had a chores day, windows sparkling and caught up with weeding as well.
Sun - Lazy day and did cinema but daughter paid - took snacks with us
Monday - cleaned office and small walk before rain came.
Yesterday - Went to see Jack Savoretti so a little spend on drinks and fuel.
Today - not spending still only takes my NSD to 10/15
Tomorrow day off with grandson, will try walk somewhere and take snacks but can see some spending happening as weather isn't looking great.
Grateful for
DD paying for cinema
Surveys paying for my make up.

Himself woke up this morning totally choked up, headache, streaming eyes, etc, etc. Obviously there is an underlying problem but even the last two specialist he saw couldn't get to the bottom of it. Think we're going to have to go back though as this is not pleasant for him. So. he was intending to meet his friends today but cancelled. Consequently, I had to amend my plans for today but still managed to get lots done.
Did the banking a couple of days early but it's all sorted for next month. All the veg which we have has been turned into sauces or purees for freezing tomorrow. Presents for small children have been given to their parents,.Cards for adults all written and stamped ready for posting when we're away. Feeling quite organised for a change.
So looking forward to a relaxing three weeks.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Dolly - I went for a check on my fruity plants. The gooseberry's have a little fruit; the strawbs have generally grown well and have flowers; the blues have grown but show no flowers or fruit; the rasps are about 2 feet tall and have some flowers. The blues are in quite small pots, and the goosegogs and rasps were originally planted in pots or elsewhere in the garden whilst I waited to have the fence done. Then I transplanted them when I could. So that might explain their tardiness/slowness/patheticness... I hope to get some produce from them...!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

I've been picking strawbs here for the past 4 days - already have a good supply in the freezer for jam (s'only me here atm who likes them 'as is' and I already can't keep up with what the garden's supplying!)
Spent on barbers for smallest 2 today - necessaryNo other spends - as yet - have to drop DS3 to an activity early evening with free parking at local outlet centre - am taking DD with me and she's going to check out dresses there for her graduation/ family wedding (there's a Phaze8 and a LKBenn*tt there which I think she's planning on checking out....)
Thankful for: being able to help out neighbour at short notice, the barber's comments about DS2's temperament and intelligence, not having to queue at all at the walk-in area of the barbers :T, for garden produce (have lots of rhubarb in fridge as well as strawbs - am just going out to check if any more are ripe today)

Hello everyone,
Apple - DS is doing a lot better thanks, he now doesn't stop talking and is like a different child now he has had his op. He is still behind with his development but is doing something new everyday
Been a bit naughty with the CC the last few days and karma got me because I gained 3.5lb at SW this week!!
27 May
1. BBQ at friends
2. Seeing DS playing with my friends children rather than by himself! (this is a massive improvement for him)
3. Nephew in hospital but is ok.
28 May
1. Mummy and DS day
2. Sis-in-law was involved with incident with very scary man but luckily she is safe and well (nephews mum so really not what she needed!)
3. My SW consultant being really supportive.
29 May
1. Not being too hungry at work (left my fork at home so couldn't eat my tuna salad!)
2. Dry shampoo!
3. A really nice and understanding customer when we run out of something.

Today I am grateful for not going swimming but for doing a kettlebell workout instead, for some random seeds sprouting, for dropping off 2 more bagfuls at the Sally Army, for finding some lightweight cheap walking boots for dd for this summer, for lots of reading, for our builder friend coming round to look at the dismal guttering we have, for a call from big sis.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
