Ah okay, it was just on the back of the letter it had a return address and said Lloyds banking group?
That can't have been a letter from HSBC then. Do you mean your letter was from HBOS? They are part of LBG.

Does anybody know why I can’t do a SAR online on CIFAS website even if I opt to do send documents in the post it doesn’t let me? It comes up with the same message cannot be processed
  • They will contact with you from cifas to give you the information on how and what to send.

With regards to monzo, how long have you had it open?

You need to open a new account after you had the issues with Lloyd’s to see if there is a cifas issue.

Also if there is a cifas issue usually most providers will close existing accounts you have when they become aware of this

It sounds like they can’t verify who you are. Are you on the electoral register?

Yes I am on the electrol register and it also states that on my credit file too.
  • They use Equifax to verify you identify. It only take longer if you fail to answer the identification questions correctly. If they never asked you any questions then there is a more underlying issues

Lloyd’s have deemed the transaction as fraudulent and have sent the money back to the other bank! How can this be possible?? I proved to them it was for a watch
