They are not interested in helping at all. The guy on the phone couldn’t tell me a lot as he kept on saying he’s not aloud to cause it’s under investigation. All I want is my money which I have the right to have so I can leave this absolute shambles of a bank and go elsewhere.0

......... All I want is my money which I have the right to have .........
not straight away, you don't.
As was explained in 3 previous posts, the bank is simply carrying out their obligations under the law, which overrides your impatience. It'll be sorted, sooner or later; no amount of indignation or protestation or complaining will change the process unfortunately so best to chill a bit and not bring undue stress on yourself. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
The thing is that most people don't own watches worth so much that selling them causes suspicion of money laundering nor do people who own such watches usually sell them by sending them to foreign buyers or fail to keep the purchase receipt for the watch which they would normally keep insured and therefore would retain evidence of value/.In addition very few pwople would be prepared to purchase such a watch sight unseen from a foreign seller in the hope that the item was genuine.0

I’m trying to chill but it’s hard to chill when I can’t pay for any of my direct debits and have a 14 week old baby mad can’t access any funds. If they are closing the account in 60days surely it’s got to be investigated within that time frame and can then have my money as they are not legally allowed to keep it? Also I received a letter in the post this morning and had pretty much says about if I have funds in my account I can take the letter into branch with photo ID ect, but when I spoke to them in branch yesterday on the phone they will not allow me to have any of it.0

As explained many, many times, you'll get it back when they have completed their investigations and are satisfied with the answers.0

I'm intrigued about you getting a letter in the post this morning. AFAIK it's a bank holiday and there are no deliveries or collections. Where are you living?0 -
