There is nothing on my credit report I use ClearScore. I’ve been into branch this morning and the block on the account which the branch cannot take off is an ACQU block they have tried to ring the number on the letter but they are not open on Saturdays

You need to ask CIFAS, not check the credit agencies.

  • I didnt said selling is a first Party Fraud, but if bank think you did it then they will put name on CIFAS.

How long has the account been open?
  • Try Monzo or Revolut they are super quick with decisions, if they say no almost certainly a cifas issue

A word of caution - don't celebrate just yet. I've known of banks open an account only to close it after a few days.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
