Hello all, I've read through and am feeling thoroughly motivated thanks! I would love to join please?
We've got a lot going on with a slooow reno but I'd like to save 10 months emergency pot for one. (ie one persons essential outgoings per month) by the end of the year.
This will be saved by the difference in wages between me and dh & my quit smoking money.. But it's there if either of us need it. The peace of mind knowing it is there would feel so good!
So we're currently at £1772/£6540 2.7mth/10mth please"Why not now, OK so when and how," ElephantChunks.

Hello everyone!May I please join, @Dobbibill?I have just 'graduated' from my £1000 starter EF on the wonderful thread started by @patman99 and I would love to initially save up 3 months, then 6 months of EF but I'm afraid that if I aim for the 6 month amount straight away it will seem unachievable and put me off, especially as I will have some home repairs to do this year, so I'm initially aiming for 3 months, which is £3050 for me. I'll eventually move onto 6 months, or £6100.Thanks for having me! My initial balance is £1000.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20
Starter Emergency Fund (#187): £1000/£1000
3 month Emergency Fund (#45): £3300/£33001 -
