Of course that's ok - nothing in life is ever as straight forward as we hope/plan and this year has been worse than many.

To all challenger and lurkers - well done on what you have acheived this year with your Emergency Fund. It has been a year like no other and if you have managed to add to your savings then well done, if you have needed to use it then that's what it's there for...an emergency - and this year has caused more emergencies than normal.
I just want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, whatever that might look like this year and a healthy New Year.
I'll pop a note up on New Years Eve with an overall total of what we've acheived as a group. ;)
Enjoy the festivities and make memories (even if that is using digital technology to speak/see loved ones)
    Dobbi :)

  • Hi Dobbibill, I have rearranged some funds - had a chunk of change saved up for ‘fun’ this year as was hoping to have time to have some, as we both work shifts and I will be on mat leave and we both work shifts so having one off makes holidays etc easier. However this was reliant on hub passing one last professional exam, which he hasn’t, and also given the the current Corona situation it all seems unlikely to happen. So fun money has become emergency fund and slush fund and no. 21 is full funded, £30600/£30600. Thank you!
  • Moved another £70 into my premium bonds today and have added another £25 in for my usual DD which comes out tomorrow.  So, #48  is now up to £1,127  :)
