    #3 Checking in.
Whoops! Looks like I haven't updated in a while!
I've been one of the lucky few to have kept my job all through lockdown, and not being able to do my usual hobbies like my weekly music lesson has actually saved me money.
    My total is now £4475 / £5000.
I will be using £3450 of this to get braces in September (been waiting since January) but I aim to keep topping it up as much as possible before then. £5000 is still the end goal!

Finally booked in for my dental work, so a big chunk has been removed from my EF.
    It now stands at £1075 / £5000
Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

    EF Challenger #3 £1543.72 / £5000
    MFW 2024 #100 £1300.00 / £10,000

    MFiT #40 Jan 2025 Target - £99,999.00
    Mortgage at 30/09/22 £113,694.11 | Mortgage at 24/01/23 £110,707.87
    Mortgage at 21/04/23 £107,701.01 | Mortgage at 20/07/23 £106,979.65

Well done to everyone still adding to their EF despite the challenging times we are in.
As a collective we have almost £112k in EF between us - that is amazing!!!!
    We can do this.
    Keep on keeping on.

#35 checking in EF currently stands at £5,167/£18,000
  • Hello, could I join you all please? I have had to rely on savings during lockdown and it has highlighted to me how much I need a buffer. I would like to eventually have £10,000 but it will take me years to achieve this, especially with another lockdown seemingly imminent. How long has everyone on here given themselves to reach their goals?

Welcome aboard IntoTheForest - of course you can join.
I've added your name and goal to the spreadsheet, you are #47 - keep us updated on your journey. We'll be cheering you on from the side lines.
Everyone saves at a different pace on this challenge and it takes as long as it takes  Also if you need to use it then that's fine too..... that's what it's there for after all ;)  You also have the option to break it down into bite size goals if that's easier for you - I can always up your goal each time you reach it.
All the very best saving. Keep on keeping on.

    Hi (No 2 here)
Please amend my total to £100 left in pot (Target aiming for £3,000) ive been paying off bits and bobs, getting finances straight and some house spends this year.  Ive got decorator finishing last room this week hopefully then i can start to add to this target and get some security behind me, no big xmas spends needed. So hopefully the late start can begin
