. I think I want to stay, but I want him to be punished and scared that he'll lose me. IYSWIM. My head is spinning one way then the other.[/COLOR]
Sorry for the long rant. I appreciate everyones messages.

How about counselling? - maybe not right now- can be separate or jointly. Doesn't have to be for a long time. Just means that both of you might begin to understand at the whys of what happened/ how reacted. MAy even bring up other issues that you didn't even know were related but in some strange way are. Can be very painful - but in a cathartic way (I might just be talking from experience here...)

That sounds like a good idea. In the meantime it seems like you need a bit of time and space. I can understand why you wouldn't want to bother his mum but is there someone else who he could spend a couple of days with?

My day out was cancelled at the last minute. Must admit I haven't really done much today but another freezer drawer cleared out.

    raphael - Sending you hugs.
Was a spend day. Did a small food top up. Brought some kitchen utensils(replacing plastic ones with stainless ones) and underwear that had to be replaced/needed - saved £7.60 as I had 20% off offer. Also had to buy a new kettle and tea towels. Used points on a loyalty card. So altogether I saved £37.59.
Also ordered an artificial Christmas flower arrangement for my Mum's grave.
    Did walk today.
    Used what I had in.
Did take somethings to local recycling points.
Done self care and still not playing computer games.
Still need to do a small amount of my to do list.

Not a SFD today as I took money out to pay for DS football and bought some nuts.

Did my food inventory yesterday and then my meal plan and ASDA shopping list. This week I won't need any toiletries or household items so I should be able to claw back the money I went over budget by last week.

Also printed out a "accounting for dummies" book (had it in my amazon basket, then thought about the library and then found the pdf for free) and might start reading that for half an hour in the morning while the head is fresh and I have no interruptions. Ages ago I did the free short intro course at the OU, might revisit that too. DH wants to maybe go freelance someday soon and although I would still want an accountant I would like to know some basics so we're not at the mercy of the accountant. Heard too many horror stories where people got done for the mistakes the accountant had made because they didn't know any better.

  • Hi everyone :coffee:
Couple of days off for me online as I've been so busy in real life - it's only a quick check in now as I need to get back to it. I'm desperately trying to get a blanket finished before next week for someone's birthday.
Love to you Raph - sorry to read what's going on. I don't think there is a right or wrong decision - only you know if you can accept what has happened and are prepared to move on or not.
Love to you to Lauren, sounds like a not-very- pleasant sergeant. Pleased the leave has been given in the end.
And Plumduff - I'm jealous of your day of Christmas movies and crafts. :p
Spendy day yesterday, nsd today. Bit of decluttering but still busy at work so not much else.

ORGANISE your time. - Did not get VAT return finished - day started at 5am with DS2 being in pain from earache - had it now for 3 weeks, so decision made to keep him off school (in the next town) and finally got nurse appt at lunchtime and antibiotics. Day was off plan as a result.

    WINTER proof your home,-

YOU should cook from scratch. Yes (made breakfast bars to use up honey, the last of a bag of granola, bananas from the freezer, some nuts I'd forgotten about, some very old sultanas, the last of the old bag of oats and the last of a tub of syrup. DS1 can take them back to uni. Also made fridge cake using up the (saved) ends of bags of cereals, choc ice cream syrup (no one's eating ice cream at this time of year) some broken hotel biscuits (virtually reduced to crumbs in their packets) and other bits. And finally - some super gorgeous pasta (used YS spinach leaves, loads of HG tomatoes from the freezer, 2 rashers of smoked streaky bacon, garlic and half a tub of YS mushrooms)

raphael sorry to hear about your OH, I second what everyone else has said re asking him to stay somewhere else (although as you say maybe not his mum's given the circumstances) and the counselling. All the best whatever you decide.

NSD number 9 today. Just stayed in and did lots of studying. Watched some. TV too, managed to get through a chunk of Frontier on Netflix. Was meant to go to the gym this evening but wasn't really feeling it today so gave it a miss.
