    Hi All-

    just checking in.

Aim-Today is another NSD- to be honest I am not sure what I'm on.
Update- Only £15 left in the budget  but to be fair, I will get slightly more money Sunday and more money again in a week. :T
Get Organised- done quite a few presents this month, unlikely to do anymore now.
Utilise- using YouTube videos to do my Yoga as it's free.
Share- bit obvious, but deliberately make left overs to have for other meals during the week.
Treat- eyeing up some new excersize gear as nothing fits. not this month though!!
  • Morning all :coffee:
Home and with plans only to relax and slob today :D:D:D Good job as the budget is very tight indeed. Good news is that I am still within budget, but I only have the cash in my purse available until Wednesday next week - that's ok though, it's over £100 so as long as I am careful I will be fine.
I've already got the stressful job out of the way - which was to ring my solicitor. More expense but never mind - I keep telling myself that it will be more than worth it in the long run.
So today I will be catching up on the following: online here, sleep, rest, crochet and tv that I missed while I was away.

Morning all, my mid month update is that I'm on 10/19 NSD's. Yesterday should've been one but I heard that the charity I volunteer for was broken into and someone injured the horses. Absolutely fuming and sickened (and many other words not suitable for typing here!). So as I couldn't do anything to help physically I donated £10 online.

Today should be a NSD, I'm still bedbound pretty much so that should keep me out of mischief.

I haven't got very prepared for Xmas other than organising where I'll be spending it. Will start asking family what they want as and when I speak to them.

I haven't made much use of any free activities. I was focusing on yoga and walking this month but this injury has put the kibosh on that.

Haven't got any more money saving tips, unless you count messing up your ankle so badly that you can't leave the house? I suppose that's money saving, but I wouldn't recommend it! :rotfl:

I did treat myself to a tiny bottle of prosecco earlier in the month. Now my focus is on rehab and self care, that's a priority!

Only on 8 NSDs so far. I had an excellent week, I went to see an amazing performance at the theatre, then my best friend from school came to stay with me for two days!

Yesterday was an NSD and today is likely to be as well, because I'm working from home. I'm working from home because I had to get some vet work done so I've actually spent £700 today but since it's cat-related, coming from the cat budget, which is entirely separate from my regular accounting, I think it's fine? Is there an NST police?

A full 50% of people have showed up this week to buy their items, which is a high!! I've got some more for sale. I am packing Box 12. I did a No spend month back in January where I tried really really really hard to do as much as i could without spending any money and it was an excellent month but I was exhausted. This month I've been much more focused, but not out and about as much as I've really liked it.

I am glad my husband is home now so he can cook for me.

lcc86 - Torn ankle ligaments. are so incredibly painful. Hope you feel better soon. And that is truly terrible about the horses. How can people do things like that?
So 13/15 NSD. We did go for a walk which was really nice but no money spent. I think I've convinced himself that we have to really use up what we have as far as possible. Tonight we're having left over roast beef, roast potatoes and broccoli and lunch was lentil soup. I was thinking of using some of our left over chicken to make cream of chicken soup. Does anyone know if it is possible to freeze that? I usually find when I make soup it does us twice.
Today I potted up some cuttings that I have taken from mint and basil plants. I hope they'll take. I've also found some packets of seeds (herbs) that I'd forgotten about so I'll have a go at doing those as well.
Tomorrow is our day out. Local restaurant using another voucher, I have quite a lot of things for the charity shop so we'll drop some off before we go.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    NSD achieved 13/20.
The free event in the local park was cancelled due to the rain. Did not stop me for going for a walk in the park.
Made a list of what I need to get/do from Friday to Sunday.
Changed my hair appointment as it clashed with an free event.
Only did a few household chores today.

You must have got drenched today, Kerry Woman!

Today I am grateful for a good night's sleep, for dd doing some hwk, for the girls spending 6+ hours together on a playdate, for a break in the rain for them to go outside and skip and pogo, for so many online resources to read, for a good book, for ponderations and plans.
