Hi Lovelies
Sorry I haven't checked in- august is a mental month for us and we have just got home from our wkend in C parcs. I am at a wedding next weekend but after that our diary fills up significantly & to be honest I will be glad of it.
Aim-So today is NSD number 4 - must do better.
Update- I have about £38 pounds left in my account  however I have a little more coming this weekend and then some more the weekend after. All being well we will survive :rotfl:
Get prepared- actually done quite well at this one, while I was away in c parcs they had a sale on in one of the designer shops, I got 2 t shirts and 2 jumpers and put them away for xmas- all half price or more, and they will keep the designer snobs in my family happy.also got my boys 2 bath bombs for their hampers. Feeling pretty organised
I have planned everything i can think of for the rest of the year, insurance, MOT, hair cuts, shoes...
Utilise- off to birthday party's this weekend, should keep the boys happy
Share- if you have time & are out shopping try looking in all the shops before you buy anything & then decide at the end. I make my kids do this to save them seeing something better, wanting something else after they've chosen etc.
Treat Yourself- bought myself a bath bomb for the weekend and I am starting to do daily yoga . I am hoping taking time out every morning, even if it is only 15 mins will set me up better for the day.
Hoping I can catch up on all the posts later- have a fab day all xx0 -
Collected our new TIVO box from the shop today and got soaked in the process. The Boy asked me to get him some washing up liquid whilst I was out so no NSD but only spent 60p. Well, he is coming to set up the box for me. So still on 11/15.
The Boy's washing is now all ironed although it was a struggle getting it all dried.
Still using up stocks from the freezer and store cupboard.
Himself is out tomorrow so I'm hoping to get on with a few jobs and a bit of decluttering.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Aim Still on 3 NSDs - did a small bit of grocery shopping today and also started back to school shopping.... bought DS3 a new lunchbag (his old one was falling apart) and ordered a fitting for DS2's new mouthguard (£47! - and that was the cheap option! - how he lost it but not the case I have no idea! He can't play rugby for the school without one, though)
Update (Budgets) done.
Get (prepared for Xmas) Have written list of bdays between now and end of Jan and Xmas list. and come up with a few ideas of what I'd like from people (eg: my mum) (So far ideas for me include 2 new bread tins (found the exact ones I want), Sanctuareeee smellies and a bottle of perfume to replace the one I'm running low on) - Ordered a few small stocking fillers from Amaz0n
Utilise
Share (money saving tips)

Today I am grateful for swimming with dd, good buys off the market, making a successful rasp + nectarine cakey thingy, opening a savings acc for dd, a good natter with big sis, getting a completion date for mum's house, registering online with bcc (boy, do they make it hard!), Father Brown episodes, a dry day.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

apple muncher - Thank you. Am trying to work on it.
NSD today 11/20.
Went for a walk in the park early in the morning. Then tonight I joined a small group of women who do walking/running. Was free and the park is close by. Is on again next week. They have various locations and all together is on for 3 weeks.
In the park over the last week I have met 4 people who I have not seen for ages, which was nice to have a catch up.
Did a few more bits around the flat and have started a small bag of things for the cs.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
NSD 8 achieved! yay! whoop whoop!
All food from stores -vegetable pasties for kids, tomato pasta and ys foccacia for tea.
Kids to football
5km walk again while kids doing football - my feet hurt!
I feel like I have been run over by a steam roller in my sleep, so I assume my muscles are starting to remember where they are supposed to be and what they are expected to be doing. No weight loss.
Same again today, laundry, feed kids lunch, football camp, walk around in circles, come home, clean house, cook, feed kids, yawn!
Share - yucky tip - involves kids feet *** stop reading now if you you are squeamish.***
Verruccas - cover with gaffa / duck tape - small piece, not a big square, 3 days - no more verrucca -
Or dark coloured nail polish (purple or black works really well) - put a blob on 5-7 days, no more verrucca.
Bit of a weird tip, but hey ho, and neither involves kids screaming4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, been a bit busy. Sunday wasn't a NSD as went to a local horse show. Also went out riding and had a really nice ride actually, just nice and relaxing.
Monday I had a physio appointment, walked the scenic route through the fields near my house rather than driving and paying for parking. Then went for lunch with a friend, came in under budget and was so nice to catch up, I really need to make more of an effort with my old friends.
Tuesday was a NSD, but I fell over on uneven ground coming home from work and have torn all the ligaments in my ankle  was lucky not to break it according to the doctor, had a trip to A&E last night to get it checked out. Can't speak highly enough of the doctors and nurses there. So now I'm laid up in bed for a couple of days until I can weight bear again.
It's all come at a very inconvenient time as I have to drive to Norfolk for a wedding this weekend, no idea how we're going to get round that issue but I'm sure we'll work it out. At least I'll definitely have some NSD's as I can't leave the house! :rotfl:0 -
Hi all -
Aim- another NSD today :T
Update- only £15 int he bank now until Sunday but the good news is that I don't really need anything
Get organised- I ordered another 2 xmas gifts to take advantage of a boots points offer I have.I also tallied up all the various rewards I have (Boots, Tesco, M&S) which will be put towards presents :T Still waiting on a gift card from work which I am planning to use too.
Utilise- not really days out but I have been using what I have in the house food wise. I have prepared food based on what needs eating first . Also was given a clothes horse by a friend that doesn't use theirs. really chuffed with it as it was on my list to buy another.
Share- I have ran out of tips :rotfl:
Treat- not a spendy one as I have done that, but more Yoga!! Feeling better for it0 -
Calling all Turtles - its the half way point of the month!!!
How is everyone doing - if you have time please can you post a mid-month update?
I hope some of you have done the treats goal already and if you haven't get something sorted asap - we need to love ourselves!!!
Thank you to everyone who is participating and for those that are hiding in the background as things haven't gone to plan, please dust yourself off and raise your hand so we can support you through the next 16 days:kisses:0
