We pay a fiver a month and a cup of tea to our window cleaner - used to be £4 but that was 25 years or so ago! We aren't a big house but we do have two bays and two glazed doors so he's excellent value.

  • The Mr M 'Best' Prosecco is very nice, and 25% off if you buy three bottles from the range.

Yes I’ve had that one, it’s very nice, as is Sorso the one I’ve got tonight, it was on offer at £4.49 a bottle, with discount I got it for £3.82, bargain.

Are either of them Brut? I got two bottles from meal deals we bought for FIL but they are demi-sec and I'm not so keen. My personal favourite is the pink La Gioiosa which has been on offer at 3 for £20 since November so not the cheapest but rather lovely.

    Yes they’re both brut. I can’t drink demi-sec it’s far too sweet.

  • Wow SA your diary is busy :) Glad the appointment went ok - has Mr SA got over the need to rest yet? I hope so.
We had a window cleaner, but he was a scam, said he cleaned them but never did so I do them at Easter and at no other time!

Dog 2 has in the past left the kitchen (hard floor) and thrown up on the carpet AND the rug, also he once came upstairs to find me and managed to throw up down the stairs....

I can't drink Prosecco at all, shame as it looks so nice!

    Have a good weekend XXXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.

The GKs have been and gone, several sausage rolls cooked and consumed, a couple of diva-type tantrums from DGD and DGS happy to sit eating sausage rolls and watch You Tube. I am exhausted 🥱 The kitten hid from them, I found her under the treadmill in the spare room 😆

DS and Mr SA put the fence panel back up. It will need replacing permanently at some stage but is secure for now.

Trip to Lidl was productive, got what I needed and only spent £4.49 plus 10,000 steps done in one trip.  Mr SA and the dog went with me so the dog had a good walk too.

Lots of washing done and line dried.

Now sat relaxing with my feet up listening to Rylan 😁
