Morning all, happy Thursday.
I don't know how they can stand to sit there @beanielou they must be boiling hot!
Today will revolve around Mr SA's hospital appointment. Got a taxi booked for 8.30 to allow time to get him his beloved coffee, appointment is at 9.15. Clinic starts at 9am so hopefully they won't be running late that early in the day. He's only having his bloods done and a chat with his consultant so providing his bloods are clear it shouldn't take long. Thank goodness I work flexible hours to allow me to take him without having to take time off work, although I believe I would be entitled to special leave should it be an all day thing.
I'd like to go to Lidl today but it will have to be later in the day after work.

Good morning. Love the cat pictures. We have radiator cabinets to cover up our mismatched (and not even straight) collection of elderly radiators, so the gang have whole cooking platforms to lay out on in puddles.if the heating isn’t on I will sometimes spot someone huddled up looking mournful and cheated!

Miss S is funny.
She comes up beside me, then behind me & then onto the radiator.

It went well this morning, we were back home for 10.15. He's got to have a MRI brain scan in the next few weeks just to make sure everything is still ok. I mentioned his double incontinence, the falls, balance issues, etc but this is all to be expected with the part of his brain that's damaged and isn't going to improve, the damage is too far down the line now.
Went to Lidl late morning while the sun was out although it was trying to hail on the journey back home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

His shoulder has been painful for the past few weeks, the consultant examined it and doesn't think it's anything more than a bit of inflammation/wear and tear. He used to be a roofer and carried tiles up ladders on that side. She told him to rest it and take Naproxen if it gets too painful. He has taken the advice to rest his shoulder a bit too far and is insisting he has been told to rest in general 🙄
His blood pressure is sky high so he's got to see the nurse at the GP surgery for regular checks. He has interpreted this to mean he can't have any stress in his life. I'm speechless at this as it's him who causes everyone else stress!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
