Ours is £13 every four weeks. We have a lot of windows in our house and it works out at £1 per window/door.

He does a good job though and we know that he has definitely done them. Our windows get quite dirty in four weeks due to the ongoing building works on the estate.

Ours charges £9 which isn’t bad as we have 2 big bays, front door with side panels and the patio doors as well as all the other windows. He does all the sills too. There’s no way either of us could do them so worth it to us.

  • I pay £3 per fortnight which is a great bargain - but it is a tiny bungalow and even the dog could reach the windows on tiptoe...

I keep thinking I should get a window cleaner but I think it would frighten our very timid dog to death. She is terriefied of aluminuium ladders and if she hears or sees one while we are out she will panic and literally drag me home. She is a rescue that wa found as a stray but was suspected of being a breeding !!!!!! either on a puppy farm or a back street breeder so we have no idea what might have caused this fear. I have a small set of steps iin the house and she wont go near those either.
Our dog loves barking at the window cleaner 🤣🤣🤣

Doesn't even have to be our window cleaner,  anyone with a water fed pole will do.

Our dog barks at anyone who dares to walk anywhere near our house, if they have a dog with them then that warrants a bit of growling too. Not helped by the fact we live across the road from a park popular with dog walkers. Plus she doesn’t like postmen. Mr SA’s brother used to be a postman and if he dared come to our house in his uniform she went crazy, if he visited without it she was fine 🤣

Our dog loves our window cleaner, and he loves her. But then our dog just adores meeting people. I tell folk that "it's her job to say hello to everyone, and she is very good at her job".

Our windows are included in our monthly management fee, so I've no idea how much they charge. But because we are on the coast, when it's been windy the windows are so full of sand it's hard to see out. So after days of storms lately, we can't wait for the window cleaners to come along.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I don't mind the barking but she will start trembling and disappear upstairs or anywhere the person isn't. It was a nightmare when the conservatory was replaced. Mind I say I don't mind the barking but with 3  of them all encouraging each other it is bedlam.
