Happy Friday 😎
Mr SA is still insisting he has to rest and avoid stress, hearing him keep repeating it over and over again is wearing a bit thin now. The consultation did not say that, thank goodness I was with him to witness it.
It should be NSD 10/12 today.
I'm hoping for a quiet work day. I worked until 6.15pm last night to make up my lost hours at the hospital and Lidl and it was so quiet, no emails or phone calls, managed to get quite a bit of work done.
It looks like a nice sunny day out there so the plan is to empty the laundry basket and get it all out on the washing line, oh the excitement 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I can imagine how Mr SA has taken the rest suggestions to heart and it’ll be something he won’t forget.I’m sure you shouldn’t have to make the hours up for taking him to hospital. Well done you.
Loving the comfy cats 😻 they know how to get themselves warm. Next doors cat loves to curl up on bonnet of our car - especially in summer if it’s a tad chilly- I’m guessing there’s no heating on in the house 😂😂January spends - £587.583 -
It's so quiet at work today I've decided to finish an hour early. I've got plenty of flexi to cover it. I could do with giving the kitchen a good clean. It's so annoying it gets cleaned every single day but the sun streaming through the patio doors seems to be showing up every crumb and smear.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Nothing like spring sunshine to show every mark and mote of dust.3

The sun is lovely but it’s showing my windows up 😳January spends - £587.583

I'm glad I'm not at home to see it3

The plus side of Mr SA resting is that he should be out of your face until the misremembered suggestion wears off 😁
my windows are shocking. I have an extendable window thingummy for doing the outsides, but only tend to do them in summer! It’s too cold and the water always runs down the pole and up my sleeves 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

This is the downside of having my desk in the dining room in a spot where I can see straight into the kitchen. This time next week I'll be sat looking at work's dust not mine 🤣
Our windows outside went without being washed properly for years as Mr SA always said he'd do them but never got round to it. One of the first things I did when he went into hospital was get a window cleaner to come round once every 4-6 weeks. The second was to get a monthly wheelie bin wash - another job on Mr SA's list that never got done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Our window cleaner comes every couple of weeks. When I was paying off debts I cancelled and Dh was going do them. Never happened once 😳 first thing I did was reinstate window cleaner as soon as I could afford it. He’s here to stay 👍👍 £7 every 2 weeks is worth it to me 😁😁😁January spends - £587.583

I wish mine were only £7 a fortnight for a modern terrace, my sister pays less for a detached with more windows 2 of which appear to me to involve them taking their lives into their hands. Last time I asked £10 a fortnight but it is so clean round here that less than 6 weeks & you can't even tell they've been. I know that they come & do the fronts on one visit & the backs on the next, but they always say we did them yesterday. It is different access to the front & back. I just wait for heavy rain, and we get plenty of that, and the jobs done. I occasionally remove the bird residue from 2 of the windows that get affected. I really do not like being scammed.
