What a horrid start to the week.  I don't knew how you do it but admire you immensely for doing all you do.

What a rotten night. I hope tonight is 100% better. I wonder if you are entitled to some sort of help towards laundry costs?

Thank you all and no doubt there'll be a massive waiting list for NHS chiropody. @Cherryfudge I'll certainly look at my local council website to see if they offer similar, thank you for the pointer.

    Happy Tuesday.

Thankfully a quieter night with no Mr SA related mishaps.

Mr M delivery coming later, cheese is missing this week, not the end of the world as I can pick some up from Lidl and it's the first missing item/sub for a few weeks. Had to nip out to the local small Mr T for bread as we had run out and there would be tears before breakfast if Mr SA didn't get his morning toast. Picked up 2 butternut squashes reduced to 53p each and got a few early morning steps in so a worthwhile trip.

Got a meeting this morning scheduled to last for 3 hours but in reality will probably only last for an hour if the last one is anything to go by. Planned out my days in the office for next week to fit in with me, we don't have to stay for the full day and can mix WFH and office in the same day to balance lifestyle, which is great. Looking forward to a break from Mr SA more than anything although it will be good to see colleagues again and speak to people in real life rather than virtually. I'm going for Monday until lunchtime, Thursday and Friday in the office next week, WFH Tuesday and Wednesday. My line manager said if 3 days gets too much with my caring duties it can be reduced to 2, happy to see how it goes first.

Exercise scheduled for today is WW live Bums and Tums at lunchtime plus a short dog walk then WW live Resistance Band Training after work.

The green lentils have been soaking since yesterday afternoon but I've had a change of menu and not making the bolognaise as I had pasta yesterday with the lasagne, so am making vegan slow cooker stew with herb dumplings.

It must be difficult combining work, running the household & being a carer, @Sun_Addict. Of course it's not Mr SA's fault he became ill, these things can occur pretty randomly & could affect any of us. It must sometimes be difficult though & I think you must have the patient of a saint. I like to think I would do my best in those circumstances, but none of us really know, do we, until we are confronted with a similar situation. I expect all your fitness activities & walking helps to burn through a bit of stress.
Not a very nice day in our neck of the woods, is it? Gorgeous blue sky & sunshine first thing, but it has turned as black as pitch & now here comes big rain, chucking itself at the windows. Our village mentioned in the flood warnings & the river has overtopped near town. Hopefully the rest of the week might see a bit less rain. Hope so.

SA, just to add to the discussion about podiatry - it was actually quicker for me to self refer to an NHS podiatrist than get a private appointment in my area! I was shocked, I had an infected toe last year (won't go into detail 🤢) and got an NHS appointment within 2 weeks. I had checked the private places first and they all had at least 4 week waiting lists. So you might be lucky. 🤷‍♀️

Your mix of working in the office & WFH sounds good in that you will get a bit of breathing space from Mr SA.
How did you self refer to the podiatrist?
