    Happy March 😎

The current account has been decimated today, lots of direct debits gone out. Another £250 gone to the regular saver, another £100 overpayment to the additional borrowing part of the mortgage, another mortgage payment gone out and another windows payment gone.

Mine too - over 134% of my income went out today, which is why I need to do the regular money shuffle!!

You sound like a very organised person & I suspect you need to be with your "liabilities".  Have you considered a master shopping list that covers the things you buy on a regular basis & you just run down it when placing an order.  Anything that makes life easier has got to be good.

I think there’s a list maker type thing on my Mr M app for regular items, I should really get round to using it. I tend to use my saved favourites and just run down that list but it’s not foolproof as I’ve just found out.

Mr SA is moaning because I’m not doing pancakes. I don’t like them and when I’ve made them in the past he eats them faster than I can cook them and he can get through a fair few 😆

Whoops just told DS pancakes tomorrow night, not tonight, totally forgot/didn't realise.  I kept thinking it was in Feb & then forgot then we got to March.

    Morning all, happy hump day.

    WFH again today.

It will be another spends day as I'm at the hairdressers after work. It doesn't seem like five minutes since I last went but my hair begs to differ, definitely channelling the Dulux dog look at the moment 😆

Morning SA. On the pancake front, you can get the ready made ones that you can just heat up in a pan or the microwave I think. I’ve not had them for years, but I don’t remember them being awful…it might be a quick fix for MrSA.

Had a letter from the BS reminding me the mortgage rate deal ends in June. I can switch now so that’s gone on the to do list otherwise the interest rate will double.

It’s been raining all day so far but will have to brave it out with the dog at lunchtime for a quick run on the park then again to go to the hairdressers.

We all only started back to the office on Monday and the reports of confirmed Covid cases have already started. I guess this will be the norm now.

@Sun_Addict, Yes awful weather in our neck of the woods today. I was hoping it might be on & off showers but it seems set in for a day of constant rain.
I can't see how there won't be at least a degree of increase in covid cases now that the safety measures have been removed. There were apparently 42 new cases in our town over the weekend & that doesn't take into account all the people who will no longer be testing & who are symptomless or not bothered about going out & about with symptoms.
