    And I have acknowledged that.

That doesn't change the fact you're in the minority.

Have you read my posts? It is calorie controlled. It is restriction. I DO understand how it works, I trained as a consultant for them. If that doesn't give me an understanding, then I don't know what will.

And why is it ok for you to 'keep banging on about how good it is', but me not able to 'bang on about how it isn't?'

Ok, please explain to me how it's a calorie restricted eating plan ? I don't count a single calorie ? Where is the restriction ?

Calorie restriction doesn't mean you have to count calories.

But you do have to weigh/measure 'Healthy Extras' and 'Sins/Syns'.

As I remember, I was taught that free foods were free because they were filling and you were unlikely to overeat the foods that were free.

Eh ? That doesn't make sense.

I remember reading a diet book years ago saying no one got fat over eating boiled fish and spinach.

If it comes to the crunch we all know eating lots of veg and fruit, lean meat and fish is a healthy option but all the different diets- low carb, low fat, low calorie. low additives etc. and the 5:2 - 6:1 . 4:3 and the 12 hour fast etc just confuse us even more.

I have a family member thinks the 12 hour fast means he can eat six meals in a 12 hour period etc. Another family member has tried six different diets in less than six months.

Yes it does. Just because YOU'RE not counting them, doesn't mean they're not restricted.

I think it's more that they're having a laugh. I suspect they probably do go out more now they don't do SW and don't worry about how many syns they'll eat or drink.

And yep they are hilarious. It helps grabs people's attention. But the comments are what I was pointing out.
