So everybody who doesnt withold their numbers are not dodgy... i disagree i they dont want to reveal personal information whats wrong with that ... by revealing home address if enough to trace back if anything happened cause they haveva control system who reports what address they are going to ....

  • If you are complaining that taxis are a rip off, why not contact your local council. They set the fares to be charged and if the company is charging correctly then your complaint is misdirected.
  • why are you insulting me ive asked a question not asked for people to troll me?

Like i said earlier a mobile number is NOT personal information, you really need to learn to do some research before commenting the wrong information again and again, even after you have been told.

But its weird that you would rather someone know your home address which is far more sensitive than your mobile number.

Also you seem very naive if you think someone who was phoning a taxi with criminal intent would give them their home address. They don't know where you address is all they know is where you wanted to be dropped off. The only bit of information they can guarantee is your phone number because your actually ringing from it.
  • Because i dont believe the council would put a limit on taxis fares if a taxis decides to charge 5.00 extra per extra miles its a private company what can the council do

What was the question again? I have quite forgotten.... :rotfl:
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
  • Again trying not to go off track but people who reveal their address, mobile phone and confidential information is not a criminal.. really
  • :rotfl: quite :rotfl: not :rotfl: yet :rotfl: am i making sense or not haha
  • I understand a taxis being suspicious if asked to go to a reaaly deserted place where nobody goes, but not revealing a mobile number although they have ur address and the control know where the drivers going .. i disagree
