Yes it is in work you could not give out another colleague number cause its confidential information

Cobblers. My colleagues and I give each others' numbers out all the time. What do you expect these taxi firms or others to do with your phone number? Sell it? Pass it on to GCHQ to listen in on your calls?

    Get a grip.
  • The OP believes that sone taxis ask for numbers others dont so not all do therefore if it is soo essential why dont they all do it
  • That is cobblers if i rang a company and asked for someone's number they would not give it simple due to data protection... unless it is for legal reasons if i rang a company asking for your number would it be ok if they give it out then.. obviously not logic.. i hope companies wouldnt give mine like urs do then

You clearly don't understand the Data Protection Act very well.

My phone number is not personally identifiable information. If someone gives it out, what's the worst that can happen in your fantasy world?

Oh no... hang on... someone might RING me... or even worse, send me an SMS.

Could the OP attempt to use the quote function, rather than rambling replies?

If not a troll you certainly think your a victim.

If you don't like to give out your number then walk. If you still say you can't walk then stop whining like a kid.
