I have an app for my local taxi firm and in return for giving away my mobile number I can book online, get a text telling me what make and reg of car is picking me up, a tracker for the car, oh and a nice text on drop off thanking me for using them....seems like a good swop to me

Recently although i hate taking taxis cause they are a complete rip off but when i have had no other option everytime i have had a taxis i ring on unknown they demand that i ring them from a mobile which shows the number... i understand that they want it supposedly for people not to order a taxis and not turn up but i dont think it is right... that is personal information that they shouldnt need .
Therefore is it essential by law they need a mobile number??
You dont realise i wouldnt have a taxis if i didnt need it, i need cause i have no other option cause i got a health condition might be ok for you to get an OAP trolley or racksack but i need a taxis ......0 -
If taxis have extra money for violence and abuse why shouldnt nurses so yes there is a coomon factor there0

You've had the answer, you don't like it. Boohoo, it is what it is.
Suck it up and move on, buy a car, or walk. It's that easy.
Some people have too much time on their hands, clearly.0
